How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Feels very crowded in the evening with a lot of people in a small lobby, the skiroom in the public garage was not convenient or very safe for expensive mountain bikes (someone not a hotel guest could get easily in with a hotel guests). The garage can be full, so the outside parking makes it realtively unconvenient to pack/ unpack with the bikes. Personnel is polite yet feels formal.

The rooms are very small. The hotel was full of danish guests enjoying their adult time. The hotel is not the best match for families. The kids room was only poorly equipped and not the cleanest - kids apparently not the highest prio on the list. At the check-in there was an issue with accepting cash and requesting card payment only - in AT definitely strange.

Well this is definitely not a 4* hotel. Maybe like 3* or 2.5*. First of all - one of the receptionist didn't know how to speak english. How does that even happen? On the reception it should be a standard, no matter what country you're at. The hotel was full of drunk Swedes. They were making huge noise, playing some techno out loud from their rooms and were absolutely not considering to other guests. The room didn't have any thermostat, so it was like a sauna. Yes, we could open the window to have drunk Swedes righ in front of it. The breakfast was definitely not a 4* hotel breakfast, it was more like a cheap guesthouse and even those I think are better in this. The room was clean, but not even maintained properly. Broken lamp at the night stand, uncut electrician's tape hanging from the TV. The fan in the bathroom going on the whole time, so the door needs to be closed so you can get at least some sleep. As the hotel is right next to the ski center, you would think it would be a bit skier friendly. Well it's not. There are no hangers in the room, no space where to hang your clothes to dry it, etc. Ski room that is in the garage is supposed to be locked and you open it with the room key - well it is not locked at all, the door is open nonstop, so you are leaving your expensive ski gear unattended and basically anyone can come and grab it. The shared terrace with the swimming pool is presented as something absolutely amazing. Yeah, it is amazing if you want some random guys sitting 30 cm from your window, watching everything you do inside. Curtains were drawn the whole time. Just a suggestion - if the rooms had their separate parts with a wooden screen, so that every room has its own space at least, that would make so much more sense.

Room doesn’t have a thermostat! That is a big minus in winter. Room has a floor heating that you cannot control. It is boiling hot (30 Celsius +). We couldn’t not sleep in it. Last day they turned it off but then it was too cold since outside it was -14 Celsius. It would be much better if one could regulate it with a thermostat. Breakfast is very short only until 9:30. Staff passively aggressively asks you to move at 9:10 and you must leave until 9:30. Single bed in room has a very very hard mattress. It took me 3 nights to get used to it. King sized is better but one of the 2 sides had a hollow in the bed. ( mattress should be changed). This is probably not an issue in every room but it was in our one number 2103. In general, all furniture is the cheapest possible with no style at all. All doors are plain white like a hospital. We paid 400€ per night, but we would not comeback even if it was 150€ per night.

A bit not comfortable to get from house 3 to main house. If garage parking not available, outdoor parking is 100m away from the hotel. Taking baggage to the room, out of the room isn't comformable, but maybe it depends on the room. Reception doesn't work 24h.

Verified reviewRight next door to the cable car, in the middle of the city. Busy hotel with many rooms, probably always almost fully booked. Comfortable and clean rooms, good breakfast. Perfect if you want to stay close to the ski slopes / bike trails.
Quite a big bulding, need to walk through different corridors in/out to reach your room. But still manageable. Definitely not sufficient parking slot under the hotel.
