How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Showers are rather specific (shared shower meaning there are three in one room and there's no wall between them, only some curtain). Overall survivable but could be better. Noisy beds.
Great location, amazing building, helpful reception, nice rooms (got a quiet view to the garden), good price.

There was a toilet that was a little bit odd for me (Spaniard). If you did n°1 no problem but with n°2 , you could see it because it didn't fall directly into the water so smelled a lot more than normal. The room gets really hot even with the windows open and the beds creeks a lot, they are very very loud.
The room was really spacious and had a very big window. The girl at the reception (afternoon) is really sweet and nice. Best receptionist ever.

Shared toilets and showers could be cleaner and in some showers there was only very hot water with no cold. Check-out is at 10 (which is already quite early) but cleaning staff start walking around from 9, which makes you feel a bit rushed to leave.
Great location, easy 24h check-in which is a big plus, comfy beds, sink in the room. Friendly and helpful staff. A good option if you just need a place to sleep. Price is fair for the standard, a bit of 80s Polish vibe.

Showers were not the best and toilet near room did not have zink. There was option to wash hands in the room but no soap. So bring that😄

I missed some comfort with beding arragement. Only one pillow was provided and it wasn't comfortable to sleep.

Good location, unbeatable price, comfortable enough. It's an old, tired student accommodation building, clean and tidy for what it is. Similar to the dorm rooms I lived in at uni! You get what you pay for. Staff friendly and helpful.

the showering situation was weird as you enter a room with 3 or 6 showers so if it’s busy you are showering with other people beside you and i noticed that they are not cleaned every day
it was in the perfect location, very close to the tram if we needed to use it and there was a great variety of bars/pubs close by and easy to get to the centre by foot

The communal showers would require some maintenance, not possible to adjust temperature much and the push-button would not keep it on for longer than a few seconds each time. Be aware that there is no lift. I got a room in the 4th floor. It's a nice building so acceptable, just be aware!
cheap price and pleasant room. Good location, next to tram line, bus and nextbike station. Nice building with character and plenty of communal rooms and garden space to hang out.

Staff was a bit rude but i guess it's the culture. No communal kitchen. Very low amenities and servicies (no hairdryer, when asked for more blankets they didn't have any).
Good position, very clean and comfortable room. I liked the game room and the communal area with the ping pong table. Good wifi. Free towels.

The tappets at the walls are a bit old.
The bed and the furniture were very comfortable. The location was better than I expected. I could easily reach the night bus to by foot. It was important to me to catch the first train from Praterstern to the airport. Also, I walked around the city without using any public transportation from the hotel. Still, the tram is just near the hotel if needed and the underground station in 500m. distance. The breakfast was modest but worth 9 Euros.

Smelly toilet. Some toilet has no sinks. The women shower room can’t be locked so it's a little bit worrying. No elevator.
The room is comfy. 3 minutes from the tram stop. 15 minutes from the train station. The staff were so helpful, they helped me with my luggage during check-in/out. They also attended to my request for a lower-level room as there is no elevator in the building
