The location is great, You can reach Grossglockner in 30 mins from here. The location Dollach itself has to offer few walking trails and waterfalls. The property has a bar and restaurant so you don't even have to go out looking for anything. The host was great and quite responsive.

We stayed in the old part of the hotel with a beautiful large room and high ceilings. Bathroom was excellent and big. The building is old, well maintained and loved by the owners.

The hotel is very nice. Clean, peaceful and really chill. The Großglockner High Alpin Road is close, that we're here. Simply, this is a great place! :D

It could have been a microwave :D

It was a beautiful old property in a stunning location. We had an excellent stay, it was comfortable and clean, and the restaurant was full of delicious traditional dishes.

We wanted a typical alpine Austrian experience in a traditional setting and this place absolutely fitted the bill. After a very long day driving to and up the Großglockner High Alpine Pass from Upper Austria, this was the most perfectly serene setting to rest in. After a good shower, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the cool evening glow in the beer garden while the kids could stretch their legs in the playground. The hotel is set in a tiny picturesque village with a little stream bubbling outside. We enjoyed a lovely traditional continental breakfast in the gasthaus that is reminiscent of years gone by…. I can imagine the place would be humming with keen skiers in the winter. Sadly the spa area didn’t appear to be open and my children were sad to read the sign saying children not permitted. We did pop our head in and it looked well suited for an apres ski wind-down. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. The location was excellent for access to the Grossglockner but away from the crowds. Free parking was available outside. We had no issues with Wi-Fi, the apartment was spacious with good storage for longer stays. Only shower gel and hand soap is available.

As others have mentioned, there is only 1 pillow per bed and they are small and no spares could be found so if you’d like more, we suggest requesting them with your booking. Our apartment smelt really badly of stale smoke - we were able to open windows and doors but had to shut them for mosquitoes. Only basic kitchen items are provided- a kettle but no tea or coffee so byo. We booked the family apartment which sleeps 2 downstairs and 3 upstairs but the stairs are very narrow and steep so beware for those with mobility issues. The couch is worn but comfortable enough. Basic tv channels only but we weren’t there to watch tv!

    Beautiful location

Communication with the owners was misleading. They weren’t overly friendly. No fridge in the apartment.

Excellent position at the end of the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse. Large, two-floor apartment with a nice view on the internal garden. Good restaurant.

During our stay, it was not possible to pay with credit cards (the POS was broken), only with cash.

What a wonderful place to stay. Very inviting staff. Helpful and kind. Beautiful hotel.

This place was quite a stop at the base of the Grossglockner pass. I was traveling via motorbike so hearing the hundreds and hundreds of bikes passing by through my stay was fun
