The breakfast was rather simple and monotonous, with the same offerings every day. After a few days, I was hoping for some variety.

Great location, very close to the lake. The offered extras like SUP or sun-bed were free of charge. The staff was ready to help and very friendly.

The room and hotel is a bit outdated. There was no refrigerator in the room or kettle for a hot water.

Amazing location in front of the lake, some rooms are facing the lake, others are facing the garden. This particular room faces the garden. It was quiet. The room is spacious and clean. In front of the hotel there is an access to the lake just for the hotel guests.

The room was rather dated; bathroom smelt like a public toilet first thing in the morning; pictures show renovated/modern rooms (but unfortunately ours wasn’t one of them)

We had booked the villa and upon arrival we find out that there was water damage and it was no longer available. (I’m not sure if this was an issue through booking or through the hotel so I’m reluctant to criticize the hotel on this). The initial room we were placed in was non-lake facing but when we brought this up to the front desk we immediately moved rooms and had a beautiful lake facing room. The hotel itself is a bit outdated but it’s clean.

The location was breathtaking it holds true that it is just steps from the water. The man at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating despite any hiccups that happened.

Hotel rooms we nicely clean but very old. Old mattress, thin towels, dusty carpets, unfortunately nothing what reception could fix because I am sure that if they could those two gentlemen would do so. First night we stayed in “lake view room with balcony” but for the second night we kindly asked for change as the street above the balcony gets very busy from 5am. It was compromise, we lost beautiful view but got a better sleep 😊

Location was great, very close to lake (just across the street). The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, we arrived with the dog and she was welcomed too. Outside area by the side of lake related to the hotel was really pleasant. Great for little chill on the grass with lake view.

Perfect location by the lake, and also own restaurant which is very helpful in that location due to lack of opportunities. Also there is great private beach accessible from the hotel.

There is no refrigerator in the room , no kettle for hot water , the breakfast is poor and limited , no iron or iron table and when requesting one ,we had only the iron for couple of hours , and a lot of insects when opining the window for ventilation The nearest market or fuel station is 5-7 Km far away , the hotel restaurant closes at 9:00 pm , So you must be prepared in advance and get some snacks .

Location is amazing in front of the lake , staff are helpful , parking is available few steps away from the hotel , Lightening in the room is perfect specially at the dresser mirror, room size is more than perfect with big Balcony .

The room was a bit dated (also there is no fridge), but in general it was ok. Also, with the breakfast available until 10AM we found that by 9AM it was already a bit out of food, which could be improved.

The location is nice and the views on the lake from the balcony are really nice. The hotel also has an area with a private beach that, when the weather is nice it's a plus. Very friendly personal.

During breakfast we were not offered omeletes, and once by the end of the dining we saw others having omeletes, we asked the waitress what did we miss and she told us she was asking us if we want some eggs but allegedly we responded "no" (which was not the case). Having a teapod and a tea in the room would be good

The hot water system broke in the morning so we had cold showers! No kettle in room.

The location is stunning right by the beautiful lake. The private beach area is brilliant, mini golf, table tennis and boats to freely use, plus snack bar! The room was really nice, spacious and clean. The breakfast was great and staff all nice and helpful.

Our room smelled like mold and had a stain of feces on the 50-year old couch. The breakfast offering declined in general, and barely exists on weekdays. After complaining, we were offered a 10% discount, which was refused due to its glaring inadequacy. Just like everything else: glaringly inadequate. This hotel will be out of business soon, which is a deserved consequence of its poor management and dilapidated condition.

The location, which of course remains unchanged from past years. Everything else has declined to the point that we will never stay here again, after being regular guests for several years.

The buildings are very old, I would say Bauhaus architecture from just after WW1. This does not matter but for the fact that all the furniture looked 100 years old as well, and the smell walking in to the villas was of a dank nature that occurs when carpets are also 100 years old. The main issue for me is that is totally overpriced and poor value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at the Post Hotel: a large suite with two rooms so that our adult son could sleep separately. We were very impressed with the large area of the hotel beach with everything for water entertainment for both children and adults. In the evenings we took a boat and enjoyed the sunset from the water. Great breakfast with small, delicious croissants and fresh bread rolls. The hotel is very well located, just a few minutes' walk from the path to Schoberstein. We really liked it there and will definitely book this hotel again next summer!

Great location, big rooms with balcony facing the lake. Excellent staff, very good breakfast. If you want to see the lakes towns around, like Hallstatt, st. Gilgen etc., its the perfect place to spend some days, as its 15-20 minutes driving from each lake towns. We enjoyed staying here.
