How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Minor issue with our room service, our cups and glasses were not being cleaned or changed throughout our stay. Not a fan of the 'Dutch' style toilets!
Excellent location, quiet and away from the main hustle. Walkable to main points of interest, metro, fast ferry to Bratislava etc. Room was big and facilities were good. Breakfast was very good. Excellent bars and restaurants very close by.

Old design.
Everything was great, comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast with a lot of choices. Very close the city center and easily accessible to the zoo park. Near the hotel there are metro, tram and train.

Unfortunately the free WiFi did not work within the room we stayed. The only way to connect was to stand in the hallway. The hot water did not work as expected and took a long time to heat up. The hotel does allow pets so anyone with allergies should beware.
Room was quite large and had great amount of natural light and the bathroom was also a great size. The location of the Hotel was very good, not too far from major tourist attractions and shopping avenues. The included breakfast was great with a large selection of food options available.

The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. I really liked the location, it’s quiet but very close to the city center, and only took 5 minutes or so to walk to St Stephen’s Cathedral. The breakfast was also very nice.

No tea coffee making facilities in room nor a fridge. I was aware of this when I booked it.

If parking your car, the public parking lot you're directed to is a bit of a walk from the property. Better to use public transport if possible. An underground station is a short walk from the hotel.
Very good breakfast. The location is on a side street and is a short walk from a metro station, the river, and many restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable.

A very nice hotel., not "top-of-the-line", but good enough. The room was cleaned every day. Perfect localization, good breakfasts. Personel VERY kind. There wasn't a kettle in the room. I asked at the reception desk and a very nice gentleman gave me a complete set: a kettle, glasses, and a tea set. The only downside was the slow and interrupting wifi on the fifth floor. But I highly recommend this hotel.

Perfectly located for the city centre, shops, cafes and the nightlife down by the canal. Fresh and substantial breakfast. Excellent AC system for hot days. The lady on reception was very kind and friendly.

Excellent location, 2 mins walk from U-Bahn and 5 mins from Stephanplatz / main shopping areas. Could walk to all main city centre attractions within 15 - 30 mins. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Good sized room.

The WiFi is slow. Only one lift is functioning. The bathroom has no hook to hang clothes and towels, and it also doesn't have a soap dish holder to put the bottle of shampoo. It will be perfect if a kettle is provided.
The location is very good. Most of the attractions are walkable. Breakfast has more variety. Staff is friendly and helpful.
