Reviews of Hotel Garni Ransburgerhof

The chalet was beautiful, and very clean. The facilities were great. It's a paradise for the kids, with animals and games, and beautiful surroundings. We loved it, and want to come back again.

Thay said the shalet has 4 bedrooms, but one of the beds is in an open galery, so it's not really a room and we couldn't use it like we planned. Someone should pay attention to the animals, some kids were realy torturing them.

Chalet was an awesome experience. We were a group of 14 adults and 10 kids. Booked few other apartments also. Everything was so good! :)

This is an old type Austrian pansion with a very kind owners taking care of their guests. I like this type of establishments as they remind me of my childhood. The location is out of hand, but it is well connected to the ski lifts via a ski bus service. It has a limited features spa, but not much else to offer. Altogether, I enjoyed my stay and liked their well stocked breakfast offer, with good eggs, cheese, yoghurt and honey of a good quality.

I did not like my room, which was really old fashioned and dark, with a small window looking into a narrow space between the two wings of the building. It is just the opposite of the nice view one would expect from a ski holiday mountain view. This was not mentioned in the room description at the booking time. While it was spacious, the room was sparsely appointed with old furniture, no bathrobes for the spa, humble towels and a general lack of taste under the excuse of the Alpine style. I understand that other rooms might have been refreshed.

Everything was super nice.

The hotel is located near Flachau. We booked a suit - a large room with a double bed, a dining area and an additional kitchenette. We were surprised to find out that it was considered as an airbnb apartment - they didn't clean it, didn't change sheets and towels, there were no toiletries in the bathroom ( no shampoo, no conditioner and so on.) The separate toilets were at the other side of the room and since there was no soap in there, we had to go to the bathroom on the other side in order to wash our hands.(Bring a sprayer because the ventilation works very slowly.) The next day we stocked up on everything we needed and since breakfast was mediocre, we took advantage of the fully equipped kitchen and ate in the room, although that wasn't our intention to begin with. The place did not meet our expectations- It should be noted in the information provided to us that the suit is considered as Airbnb and that there is no room service and all the other details that if we had known in advance ,we wouldn't have chosen to book it. In addition, we had to ask for additional toilet paper, trash bag, etc, which gave us an unpleasant feeling. We certainly won't be coming back!

The room was big and comfortable. Kids loved the farm and the playground. Owner let us stay few hiurs after checkout.

We have small kids, so it was rough without an elevator. Also WiFi didnt work the whole time.

Lovely hotel with animals- rabbits you can feed,, pigs, horses( including riding), bulls. Has tennis court and wooden children's houses, playground, trampolines and more. The rooms we got was very big. The hotel offers activities for all guests like barbeque and more during evening hours.

The kitchen lacks basics like soup you need to buy by yourself, dishwasher detergent, has old pots and cans and more... Staff was great except the lady who was not so nice and even suspected us for cheating with the guest number and even asked us to separate our garbage when we wanted to put it in the large trash outside. Breakfast is european typical so you wont get eggs and in general quite minimal.

Very nice hotel and room. The staff were really friendly and helpful! It had all the necessary facilities, and the sauna was also really great to relax after a day of skiing!

I love the location, close to the ski resort, but not in the centre, parking is not a problem. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. Loved the sauna, which is apparently a new thing from this season

We were on the top floor, wi-fi was not ideal, and I needed it for work. Once the hotel was full with guests, it got even worse.
