The forniture of the room /2nd floor was old.

Room: clean, comfortable bad, clean bathroom. The rooms on the second floor are worse than the rooms on the upper floors, but in any case nice and comfortable. Restaurant: had a good menu, with enough choices. The people are nice and professional. Personelle of the hotel: Nice, polite and professional. Prices: adverage for such kind of hotel.

The fact that we stayed longer than initially planned, says it all. Beautiful, quiet location, spacious clean room with a view, nice pool area, great breakfast to get you started for another day of exploring. Staff was reduced due to off season booking, but Tessa Ebenwalder the directress made up for it 10 times over...from being super friendly on the phone and during check in to freshly preparing egg dishes for breakfast. Nothing was too much for her and whatever she did, she did it with a genuine smile. Once she was on her day off, it was a completely different story...unfortunately. Nevertheless, it's been a lovely stay and we will definitely come back.

Parking was free and easy to find. Check in was very simple and fast, the staff was very friendly and gave us all the info needed. Our room was in the ground floor, very clean and with a nice mini bar. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was really amazing - I highly recommend you to try it.

tbh, I'd expect more from the hotel where the stay costs 200+ per night. First of all, this amazing Austrian tradition to have receptions working only during smartly invented "business hours" which have less in common with work rather than with life balance of the employees. Guys, when people stay at the hotel, they are not at home. They may need assistance even after 19:00, can you imagine that? Or after 12:00 pm on Sunday. Now, our climate control was not working the whole stay and I reported that, but of course no one cared, it was out of business hours! SPA appliances (saunas, waterfalls) are also switched on upon request, again you have to reach out to someone and pray the person is there, I guess. Some minor things like a complete absence of ventilation in the bathroom and toilet are just adding up.

The rooms look relatively modern and the SPA area is nice, has enough space. Nothing looks worn out. Breakfast can satisfy the basic needs and the restaurant is good.
