How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewWell located right next to a subway station so very easy to get around the city from here. The room is large, the bed is comfy and while there are other rooms with other guests we could not hear anyone else the whole time we stayed here which is great. The facilities are brilliant with multiple bathrooms, a kitchen and washing+drying machines (that do cost but it's good to have them). Would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Vienna.
Nothing.

Verified reviewGood location and clean. The price is good.
The room is hot and has the bare minimum. There are only outlets on one side of the bed. The window doesn't open. The light comes in. The walls need urgently to be painted again from all the marks of luggage passing at the narrow 10 cm area between the bed and the wall. The name of the place doesn't fit the name in booking, it is Rosenss, which is strange. Seems that they were once a beauty centre and then changed. The mattress is poor. The lift doesn't work. The lights flicker. Put some 10 euro clothes rack and some ventilator in the room, come on...

Verified reviewLiterally 1 min from train station, clean, well equipped kitchen, perfect for 1-2 nights.
Too soft bad

Verified reviewThe bathrooms and kitchen were impressively clean, room was pretty clean as well, had a comfortable stay. really close to Wien Meidling train station, which was great as we had an early train the next day. many food options and supermarkets in the area too, and had easy access to the main Vienna attractions
walls were quite thin, could hear the neighbouring guests so may not be suitable for light sleepers. may be a bit warm in summer if the windows are not open

Verified review2 toilets was fine and the kitchen.
The room is hot in the summer (no AC) and not at all cozy. Customer service doesn't even respond remotely, except with a delay of over 24 hours. Location is not good, very far from the center.

Verified reviewEasy to get to and very good for the price. Room was nice and clean and the check in time was flexible (good if you’re flying in the same night)
the toilets could have been a little newer and better looking

Verified reviewGood location near Meidling station. Simple and easy check in. Room was spacious and clean. There are only two toilets and one shower available though so if multiple people want to use the facilities at the same time it could prove troublesome.

Too much noise from corridors (doors and people getting in and out)

Verified reviewThe best thing was the price and location. The accommodation is very close to Wien Meidling HBF, and there's plenty of commerce around (bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants). The bed was also pretty big, and the room quite spacious (albeit sparse in furnishings).
You can easily hear other guests on the hallway, so your sense of comfort and privacy will vary depending on who else is staying over. Everything seems passable and useful, but nothing beyond that. On the other hand, it was quite cheap.

Verified reviewClean bathrooms and common area. Self check was seamless. Big kitchen with everything.
Orthopedic pillows were a nightmare. So high and hard you can't choose a position you're used to. Walls need some refreshment from dead mosquitos and blood they sucked from previous guests.

Verified reviewThe location was amazing, near the metro station, but on a quiet street. It was very clean and kitchen was well-equipped.
One thing we didn't like: - In front of the windows was a roof where were random and strange people during the night. We thought they got into the building using the same entrance on the street because it was not locked most of the times. They were drinking and talking loudly but most importantly they could see into our apartment.

Verified reviewThe room is quite big and modest
The shared bathroom. On the first night, someone didn't clean up after using the bathroom. They should have two shower rooms. Plus the curtains/blinds are so thin. No protection when you want to sleep a bit much longer than 6AM 🤦🏻♀️

Verified reviewClean and well maintained. Staff was highly responsive.
It was difficult to find the property. No street address was given, and the instructions for entering the suite where the rooms are located were hard to follow.

Verified reviewThe location of the accommodation was very good, we had the metro at 2min distance. We didn't expect to have a shared kitchen, that surprised us in a good way, and the bathroom was really clean and nice 😄
I don't think there's anything to add here, the accommodation met my expectations.
