As we were accommodated with our dog (and paid well extra for that), it seems that we were given an inferior quality room with a view of the parking and without a balcony. I also did not like the waiting times at the reception.

Hotel was very nicely located just a few steps from the lake. We liked the breakfast options and generally the facilities.

The hotel does not have a common area that could be used for socializing for a slightly larger group and in cases when the weather is bad so you can't use open spaces in the garden which are nice. Unfortunately, there is a separate room that is used for breakfast or dinner where socializing would be possible after dinner is no longer served, but after we used the same room for socializing one evening, we were not allowed to use it the second evening, with the explanation that it was already prepared for tomorrow's breakfast. On the last evening, although the room had been cleaned beforehand, there was no more liquid soap in the bathroom sink. Also, the shower gel in the shower cabin could not be squeezed out, even though the bottle was filled. Before arriving, I asked for information about the price of breakfast, but I did not receive an answer to the same question.

Hotel is located very close to the Achensee so you can easily reach walking paths around the lake while it is also close to the center of this small place and you can choose to go in some of the restaurants which are pretty good or you can do some shopping in Spar, if you need some groceries. Rooms are wide enough; there is a big closet so you can unpack your stuff easily. Balcony is pretty nice and is large enough and you can enjoy the view of the lake and the surrounding mountains from them, if your room faces that side. The bathroom has everything you need.

Parking place in front of the hotel has only few parking slots. It could be a trouble when you come late.

Perfect breakfast and dinners, 2 waitresses spoke czech. Cleaning of room included new towels every day. Owner has warm and open approach to each guest. Family atmosphere.

We have arrived 21.20, while the reception is closing at 21.00. Instead of welcome, we got the strickt and straight forward comment that we are late. I get it, even we emailed, we might be late, but with the situation at Brenner pass or in Regensburg, Munich, there can be always something to slow you down. I might appreciate a warmer welcome.

The standard of this hotel as the room equipment, a view, nice wood details are on the level of 4* stars. If there is a small coffee machine then it is top. Basically the room consists of 2 smaller rooms, this is what I liked the most. But our price was on the level of 4* hotel, however we booked only a night before, so that is fair. The breakfast is rich and tasty. There are many parking places, but when you come late, it might be challenging.

Bar closed on our return to the hotel at 9pm. Surprising as we enjoyed the previous night until much later.

The receptionist was rather curt and instead of answering a simple question he thrust a leaflet on things to do around Achensee which did not even have the answer as I was enquiring about something in the hotel itself. There were no bathrobes in my room although I saw people wearing bathrobes in the wellness area. Whether they are supplied by the hotel (I suspect so) or those people brought them with them I do not know but I did not feel like going back and asking the unhelpful receptionist.

The hotel is in a very good location - close to a bus stop with connections to Jenbach railway station, near the Rofseilbahn-Station and the lake Achensee. A nice room and lovely wellness facilities. The inside of the hotel is very intricately decorated and reflects the local surrounding.

The hotel did not cater for special diets, like gluten free and dairy free diet. We bought dairyfree milk and suitable bread at the Spar supermarket to complement the food on offer. One waitress showed not flexibility in adjusting the dinner menu slightly to accommodate dietary needs. The chef however was willing to adjust the meal which was very good. We would have appreciated brighter lightbulbs in the bedroom. The hotel has numerous stuffed animals which might not be to everyone's taste, but hunting is still happening in the mountains.

The location was very good. The local buses were very close, cogwheel train, ferry, gondola and supermarket were in walking distance. The buffet breakfast was very good with a wide selection. Dinner portions were very generous and very good. The room was spacious, but offered views into other hotel rooms although the blinds were nice.

Disappointing not to have a fridge in the room as we wanted to store cold drinks and snacks for our hiking, tennis etc. It's a great location for activities so not unusual to have your own drinks.

Creaking beds, balconies on the 3rd floor are very close to each other, can hear neighbors breathing. Noise from restaurant at night when Germans were talking at the garden tables. Very limited parking space.

Parking was full, it was hard to find place and there is a lot of hotels around we were not sure which parking belongs to who. Because some of the big cars parked like on two spots and nobody cares we had to park on the street side. I booked hotel for 109 euro with all tax included and payed 111, because of higher city tax. When we were at the check in we spoke English as we do not speak German and anyway the receptionist was speaking German. Hotel is nice but it seems like English speaker or any other besides German and Austrian are not very welcome.

Given room was nice and big, very comfy beds.

Breakfast was good, bit a squeezed buffet area….in the eve, some dishes were gone super quickly on the buffet. Sauna is a bit poor for a „wellness hotel“. No towels available for sauna, just one if you ask for it. Dinner area misses a bit of flair. Price for one night is pretty high.

Check in was very poor. My room was ready but wouldn't let me have it until 2pm. Terrible wifi!!

Nice large room with separate living area. I was up in the roof, so the windows were not large therefore the room was a bit dark, but still comfy and clean. Nice little spa area, but don't expect too much. Very quiet so I had Sauna to myself. Breakfast was excellent!! The staff were a big mix. The young chap who checked me in was not great. No info, not very attentive. But the guy who works in the restaurant dinner and breakfast was brilliant. Attentive without in your face, perfect balance for excellent customer service. Fab location with a couple of restaurants just a minute walk

The rooms are decorated in traditional Austrian style, which is lovely, the furniture is all custom made, The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable so we slept really well. The breakfast is also tasteful. Also, our room was very spacious and clean.

Previously I booked cheaper and had smart tv with Netflix and a room with amazing view to the mountains (room 212), now It cost more which is fine, but I would be happier to get the room with the same benefits then (room 207 wasn't the best). :)

We did not order breakfast through our booking. We decided to have breakfast our first morning and the waitress told us we would have to pay 15€ each for the breakfast, we agreed to this and were told we could pay when we checked out. When we checked out we were surprised to find an extra 15€ "restaurant fee" on top of the 30€ for two breakfasts. Perhaps we did not understand the waitress when she told us the cost of breakfast, but nonetheless we were surprised and we would have eaten elsewhere if we would have known we'd be paying 22,5 € each for two small breads, some eggs and coffee. Just be warned and if you want breakfast (which was good!), to include it in your booking or be prepared for the extra charge.

Sauna was nice, breakfast had nice variety and was very good, room and decor were very cozy.
