Shower head didn’t fit in the shower holder. Cupboard by bathroom badly placed as kept bumping out heads when using the bathroom

I don't really have any big complaints. I saw some reviews where people complained about staff being unwelcoming or unhelpful. That wasn't my experience. Perhaps the staff didn't exude American-style cheerfulness and friendliness (which is fine! we're not in the US), but they were professional and helped me when I needed it. (Plus they have a 24-hour person on the main desk!) I would like it if they had a better system for keeping track of the in-room mini bar. I drank one sparkling water during my two days, but they recorded it as a beer. The price difference was negligible, but I know I didn't drink a beer. I don't really drink alcohol.

I read a lot of reviews online that had negative things to say about this hotel, but my experience was positive! My room was sparkling clean, the bed was comfy, the breakfast was good with lots of options, and the location was excellent (a short walk from the central train station and close to public transportation. They also provided a guest pass for public transportation, which I wasn't expecting. I could catch a tram that was about a 2-minute walk from the hotel and be in to Old Town in about 15 minutes.

Friendly staff, cleanliness of the bathroom was exceptional, nice toiletries, comfy beds, quaint bar and lounge. Amazing breakfast. Quiet location. Near to railway station. Can walk to the old town.

Beautiful location. Super friendly reception staff, and they even loaned me an adapter for my plug because I had lost mine. They were super helpful.

The bathroom shower was a weird arrangement. You could NOT stand under the shower unless you turn it toward the sink and then the glass shield wasn’t sufficient to contain the water in the tub. The key system should be changed to a digital card rather than having to turn it into the front desk each time you leave the hotel

Breakfast was tasty but it was the same selection each morning. The coffee was very good. The room was quiet and spacious but dated. There was only restaurant style seating and there weren’t any comfortable chairs in which to sit and read or watch TV.

The location wasn’t that great as we needed to catch a tram bus to get to the center. We also were disappointed that the hotel had no restaurant and there were hardly any restaurants in the vicinity.

during the stay tips was not required which was very thoughtful, as I put 2 euros on the table and still on the table when we returned, but tricky was, my hairclip and hairpin were missing~ probably left them in the last hotel, it’s very cheap but very useful

It was expensive but that may be because it was New Year’s Eve.

It was warm and cosy and the staff were very friendly, giving us 2 rooms on the same floor.

The room was quite dated in terms of decor and the furniture. However, I did not take issue with this personally as this is one of the charms of the property, being a family-run style of hotel. Customer service and paperwork seems to be quite analogue and dated as well, so if you are a more modern traveller looking for contemporary accommodation or products, this might not be the stay for you.

Location-wise, the property is conveniently located 5 minutes away from Salzburg's main train+bus station, and a direct bus line to the airport is accessible 2 minutes walk away. The staff were kind and accommodating, always eager to help.
