Spacious and very quiet room in a lovely old historic building by the Inn river. Nice gardens and easy parking. The food was really quite exceptional. Very welcoming service. Good wine list. As a single traveller I had a double bed which is nice

Nothing but it's basically 1km from Schwaz in Vomp so really you need a car to access. I liked it being a bit more out of the way

The Mayr family has done a wonderful job with Schloss Mitterhart. The old castle is very nicely decorated, comfortable, and comes with amazing hospitality. It is clean inside it’s service everyday. The breakfast is amazing and so is the restaurant itself. The staff is personal and friendly. Great location to numerous ski resorts as long as you have a car.

There was nothing I did not like. We had 3 or the 10 rooms available to book for the week and all three rooms were spacious especially for European standards. You should call ahead if you need an extra bed.

Absolutely beautiful hotel right next to the river, and the hotel staff was just lovely.

Everything was clean. Our dinner was delicious.

Really small, quirky bathroom set up -- three areas to step up and down into --- cramped. With construction all around the area it was tricky accessing the property.

    Excellent breakfast, great decoration

The room was not the same as on the pictures. The mini suite was actually 2 small bedrooms. Shower with no door.

    It was clean.

We booked a spacious room with private bathroom and dressing area. We got a pokey room with sink and shower in the room and no room to unpack cases. Horrid! Squalid! Even worse ...the place was unmanned when we arrived. There was no-one to ask for help. We just had to sleep in the grim room. Staff arrived next morning. They were pleasant and blamed booking.com for the misleading description. They moved us to another tiny ...room. lt was a proper hotel room though . It was still small but much nicer. Our stay was a big let down as this hotel was not cheap . The fact the whole hotel was.left totally unmanned most of the time was scary. I had so looked forward to sitting in the garden on the bank of the river lnn ...boasted about in the description. But this was locked to stop guests enjoying it when we stayed. And there was no one around again to ask for help. Garden furniture cushions also locked away ..so mean . This hotel is run for the owners and not the poor guests. I wouldn't recommend.

Castle is very nice, close to the river where you can have dinner and breakfast. Room comfortable for 3 people, we have enjoyed Tiroler atmosphere.

We had some issues with the staff during dinner, but the lady serving breakfast was very kind.

A very nice hotel in a quiet location. Surprisingly large room with nice furnishings and finishes. The host family was very warm and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

The view from the room wasn't very interesting, as it was dominated by a building under construction right next door.
