How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThis was truly one of the best hospitality experiences we’ve ever had as a family. From the very beginning, the service was outstanding — both at the reception and from all the staff members throughout our stay. We were genuinely impressed by how kind, attentive, and thoughtful everyone was. They did absolutely everything they could to make our experience special. It was my husband’s birthday, and they went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. They decorated the dinner table with so much care, brought out the cake we had brought for the occasion with a candle, and even sang happy birthday. They also gifted us a glass of champagne for a lovely toast — such a generous and thoughtful gesture. Throughout our stay, they constantly made sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying ourselves. Every request was promptly taken care of, with a smile. The room was wonderful — beautifully decorated, high-quality finishes, an extremely comfortable bed, and a fantastic shower. Everything was tasteful and cozy. The pools were amazing — all heated, which made a big difference since it rained heavily during our stay. Because of the rain, we decided to stay in the hotel the whole time, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. We enjoyed the pools a lot, and our daughter had the best time at the Kids Club — it had everything a child could wish for. The food was excellent, and to our surprise, although we had only booked breakfast and dinner, they upgraded us to an all-inclusive stay — free of charge. That was such a pleasant surprise and made everything even more enjoyable. We honestly have nothing negative to say. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely love to come back in the future.
As a Black family, we are aware that not every place in the world — especially in Europe — always welcomes us with open arms. Unfortunately, we’ve had experiences where we didn’t feel entirely comfortable. But here, it was completely different. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine kindness and respect. Despite being the only Black family at the hotel, we never once felt out of place. Quite the opposite — the staff, as well as the other guests, were all warm, friendly, and incredibly welcoming. There were no strange looks, no uncomfortable moments — only hospitality and smiles. We left feeling deeply touched by how inclusive and respectful everyone was. It made us fall in love with Austria and with the Austrian people — especially considering that our experience in Italy had, sadly, been quite different .

Verified reviewFantastic food. As a vegetarian I was very well catered for and excited for my dinner every day. Staff were always helpful and lovely. Very family friendly.
Unfortunately, there is a taxi rank at the front of the hotel, so a constant level of noise disturbed our sleep. We needed the window open as it was impossible to cool the rooms down. After a few days we asked for a fan and the noise of that helped block the outside shouts and excitement throughout the night.

Verified reviewLiked the room but noisy at night with window open. No proper street patrol as in the past. Enjoyed spa facilities
Breakfast adequate but scrambled egg always looked as if it had been out for two hours and generally cooked breakfast meagre choice eg grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns etc. Omelette one day but overcooked. As a single person I did not appreciate being put in a corner table at the back of the room.

Verified reviewI loved everything. Highlights - the outdoor pool looking at the mountains, delicious five course dinner which is excellent value, friendly staff, modern but also family alpine feel. Location is perfect as you by town and close to lift, but they have agreement to leave skis in intersport exactly opposite the main lifts

Verified reviewThe staff are lovely , excellent service always with a smile. The hotel has a nice ambience with live music in the bar area. There is a separate smoking lounge that has good air extraction for cigar smoking, where you can have drinks . This is the only hotel left that has a smoking lounge in Saint Anton. The food was very good , this was the highest quality half board with meat , fish and vegan options , 5 course evening meals. Breakfast is also very good. The rooms are comfortable and clean and a good size. Location is very good , you have the option to leave skis and boots at the ski hire shops by the lifts so can walk the short walk from the hotel in your own shoes.
The only thing that would of been nice would be to have a fridge in the rooms.
