The pillows could have been fluffier/thicker. The village is rather quiet which can be welcome by some.

If I must find somtehing to complain about, it would be that I didn't like the smell of the shampoo and shower gel.

Beautiful hotel at a great location. Very nice interior everywhere. The breakfast was really nice, and the dining area outstanding. My room was clean and cosy with a lovely view from the balcony. I would have preferred a little cooler indoor temperature though.

gorgeous place, magnificent view from the window, silence, beautiful alpine lake, helpful and kind staff, in the morning the hotel owner at breakfast asks each guest how the last day went, the gourmet restaurant is the best on the coast. We highly recommend.

only one little thing, that it’s easy to hear someone from other rooms near you. and the second thing which probably was the worst thing, but didn’t effect the stay that much, is staff. the reception everything is perfect but the restaurant.. they are really sweet and nice, but a little bit too slow and every time we would ask something for couple of seconds they would look at us like we asked something inappropriate. so they were too shy, but of course it’s not about all of them and still the service was 9/10

Most things come at a surcharge. Small things such as parking are at an extra cost of 10€ per night. A normal late check out is an extra 40€ per person. This took away from the experience and seems unnecessary given the pricing of the hotel compared to others in the area.

We loved the views, the spa area and general calm of the hotel. The chef is absolutely incredible and still has us raving about the dinners we had.

There is a really wonderful wellness area with access to the lake and a panoramic sauna. Unfortunately our experience was spoiled by rude children entering the saunas in wet swimsuits without any pads, who calmly brought water and food with them. One local elderly lady was really angry for such an invasion of privacy. Perhaps it would help if the wellness area was supervised or divided into an adults only section. Also, better signage about where not to enter in swimsuits and hygiene rules would help. It's a shame that our dream stay was spoiled by loud and rude guests.

The nearest train station, Traunkirchen Ort, is not easy to find. It is also not easy to move the luggage cases from there to hotel. Good to learn that the hotel provided pickup services at Traunkirchen station.

One of the best stays I had. Staff is super helpful, the room was super comfortable, the view on the lake gorgeous. On top of that, the treatment we had, the spa, the breakfast were all perfect. I would recommend and I'll definitely come back.

The only tiny thing is that it would be awesome if the sauna would be open longer. There is nothing better then going to sauna and then right to bed.

This wasn't our first time in Seehotel and I just love the place. Everything is perfect to every detail. The breakfasts are awesome, full of all kind of delicatessen. Sauna area is awesome and tranquil place where you can just relax, drink tea and read your book. The views both from the room and the sauna are spectacular and I love jumping to the cold Traunsee. I also appreciate those little activities like cooking käsespätzle with Lukas or music under the christmas tree. This makes my experience even better. I hope I will return for another New Years eve.

Literally everything read great!! The breakfast, our room, the view!! We looved our stay and we want to cover back in the summer? It will be great as well we guess!
