    Not that much.

    The attitude of the owners was simply unacceptable. Christina Pfurtscheller shouted at my wife right in front of the reception desk. She was aggressive, strange, and humiliating, even claiming that she’s “the queen of the hotel.” The implication was that we were her subjects and she could do whatever she wanted. One of the receptionists showed the same terribly unfriendly attitude. This all happened after we complained about misleading information regarding our room. We had booked a room that, in one diagram, appeared to have two toilets. In reality, it had only one toilet and a separate bidet, located at the other end of the room. This made no sense and caused a real problem for us, as we needed the second toilet for our daughter. We were with some friends who also had unpleasant incidents with the staff. One of the ladies from the spa raised her voice about some irrelevant topic, which was both unprofessional and upsetting. At that point we wanted to leave, but since our friends had driven a long way from outside Austria to get there, we decided to finish our stay at Jagdhof. The food has also gone downhill compared to last summer (2024). The previous chef left, and now the kitchen is run by someone new. Unfortunately, the food was poor overall, with some dishes even inedible. On top of that, cleanliness was an issue. The sink had yellow stains, there was mold in the shower cabin, and the toilet had urine marks on it. Finally, some of the waiters provided awkward service, without even a smile. The treatment we received made our holiday a very unpleasant one. Never before have we been verbally abused in a hotel—let alone in a 5-star property that belongs to Relais & Châteaux.

While we fully acknowledge that guest perceptions may vary, we also feel it is important to support our team, who consistently strive to provide a high level of service and care to all our guests. Your comments regarding cleanliness, dining, and overall service have been shared internally and will be thoroughly reviewed as part of our ongoing quality assurance processes. We regret that your experience did not align with the standards we aim to deliver. Over the years, we have been fortunate to receive consistently positive feedback, particularly regarding the warm and genuine hospitality extended by the Pfurtscheller family and our dedicated team — a hallmark of our traditional Tyrolean service, which many guests describe as memorable and exceptional. For this reason, your experience stands in contrast to the feedback we typically receive. We did note during your stay that you were not fully satisfied, and in response, we offered several alternatives — all of which were unfortunately declined. Given this, we are limited in how we can address the matter post-departure. Nevertheless, we take your feedback seriously and remain committed to upholding the high standards of service and guest care for which we are known.     Second time at this hotel as we returned following our first visit in 2024. Loved the hotel then and loved it even more this time. Amazing spa, incredible food, and a great location in the valley. We got a bigger room than expected which was fantastic. Just a amazing hotel. Staff are really great as well.

    My only little request would be for some more modern weights in the gym 😂 But sometimes it's good to use an old school iron bar every now and again lol.

    The attentiveness of the staff was second to none - nothing was too much trouble. The facilities & range of services was also excellent. Big rooms with gorgeous views. Breakfast was divine with the best scrambled eggs we've ever tasted. Would definitely re-visit for longer - 100%.

    Super friendly, well trained staff; excellent spa facilities; wonderful dining experience. Although the hotel was fully booked, it did not feel crowded and the staff went above and beyond to give us an amazing stay.

    Rooms was very nice and spacious. Very good spa area (despite confusing for some in textile free and not).

    I always judge the overall experience by how the hotel handles your departure. On arrival everything is taken care off but on departure you are left on your own demise.

    My wife and I have travelled to dozens of countries and stayed in some of the best hotels in the world. We can safely say this was our most favourite trip ever. The staff, the facilities, the location, the rooms. Everything was 5*.

    There is nothing not to like. If I could be extremely picky I thought the monkfish was a little tough one evening and the burger was not the best I've had. But I'm really trying to find fault where I cannot! Perhaps the TV could be better but is that really why you go here? Also, there were no coffee and tea making facilities in the room, but again - that didn't bother us.

    Exceptional spa Welcome drinks Clean and spacious rooms Delicious free cakes from 2-5pm Waterbeds and lounge areas are always stocked with refreshments (apart from coffee which is not free) Restaurants nearby - Bottega is the best Easy to book transfer to Innsbruck - we booked 10 mins before leaving

    No bath robes at breakfast but dogs allowed Nudist only section for spa - mostly old men Outdoor jacuzzi was full in the evening You have to pay for coffee even the pods in room Staff could have given more information about activities - tobogganing requires own helmet and ski gear Lack of tour and general information about hotel such as being able to order breakfast rather than just the buffet Sensor in the whirlpool is underneath sign and hard to spot
