Great halfboard, clean room, very kindly stuff

The hotel is in walking distance from the ski slopes - ideal for ski trips. The staff is very helpful, they did their best to fulfill all of our requests. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious, good variety of food was served. We could also use their sauna that was nice.

Breakfast started "officially" at 8:00. If you want to go on a trip early in the morning and you are used to getting up around 6, then this time is not completely suitable. I asked the staff if it would be possible to have breakfast earlier. The first answer was 7:40, which made us very happy. When we went to the restaurant at 7:40 in the morning, it was probably the owner's wife who looked at us and said that breakfast is only from 8:00. I said that I have it agreed. So she allowed us to enter the restaurant. To my surprise, there were already three couples sitting there and they were almost finished. The next day we went to breakfast earlier, before 8:00 a.m. and the restaurant was almost completely full. So the rules don't apply equally to everyone. As for comfort, everyone likes something different, for us the mattresses were a little softer. The food in the restaurant is average. For the given price, we would expect a better taste. The shower door did not close. However, the accommodation was otherwise clean and large.

The owner was very nice and helpful. Although the accommodation was older, it was clean with sufficient equipment. The breakfast was excellent, a wide selection of dishes. The location is also very good.

Missed small fridge in a room.

Amazing stuff - we came ten minutes before 9pm and restaurant was almost close. But lady in reception prepared a dinner for us. She is very helpful and nice.

Parking is tricky if you have a car.

A view of the Grimming was awesome. The host very pleasant and responsive. Dinners were good. Breakfast was very fine and filling. The location is great and the value well done.

The restaurant: burgers were served cold, fries weren’t nice, red wine was served (very, very) cold, pancakes were from the fridge and not freshly made.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Despite the fact that it was the end of the season, they all went above and beyond to treat us. Nice and well-maintained sauna. The food and breakfast were great. The hotel is very nice.

My experience at Hotel Tauplitzerhof surpassed all expectations. The exceptional hospitality truly elevated our ski getaway in Tauplitz. Alex, Romella, and Anna extended such warmth throughout our stay, going above and beyond by preparing meals outside of regular restaurant hours following our ski sessions. The restaurant offered delectable dishes, with plenty of vegetarian options available. The burger, in particular, is a standout and a definite must-try. The rooms were immaculate and spacious for us with a great view Tauplitz ski resort stands out as a hidden gem among ski resorts, offering affordability without compromising on quality. Our enjoyable experience was largely thanks to Alex and his dedicated team.

A cosy family hotel in the heart of Tauplitz, with fantastic views on the Alps. Very friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfasts and a lovely restaurant serving local food. We are already planning our next stay at Tauplitzerhof!
