Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumOverall it is a great place. Two things: - Opening hours of the gym could perhaps be extended. We understand the SPA needs staffing but the gym could be open for later than 20u perhaps? - In the surrounding area there is not that much to do so, but the hotel provides for a good cocoon for a couple of days.
Great place to stay for a short break. The facilities are excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you like wine or would like to tour the surrounding vineyards then it is also a very good base. As a couple with young kids we very much liked the kids pool and the big playroom. The dinner provided in the evening is excellent quality as is the breakfast.

United StatesThe pool was very warm in the afternoon...almost like a Thermal bath. Since the space is there it might be a good idea to add a steam bath, sauna and showers away from the kids area? Kletterpark was closed over the holiday and is opening again after we left.
The staff at Scheibelhofer is amazing from the Reception and the Welcome drink to the gents in the Restaurant in the evening and the ladies at the Wine degustation. Alexandra was our Tourguide over at the Winery and had a great attitude and amazing knowledge about wine and the company. Cudos to the leaders who recognize the amazing people who work for them!

Hong KongWe just stayed one night here.
The location of this resort is excellent to us to end our trip in Austria. You will find you are in the middle of vineyard with grape plant surrounding you. The swimming pool, sauna room, and gymn are well served their function especially the swimming pool are with warm water and indoor and outdoor pool connected together with automatic sliding door. We enjoyed the facilities alot. The buffet breakfast is absolutely well serves both in quality and quantity in all kind of food you can image for the breakfast, it even serves you the Rosé sparkling wine in the breakfast.

AustriaGarden area was very hot as no natural shade only umbrellas and they can’t cope in the low sun. The wind was constant. The pool water was like a hot tub therefore not a cool off but the temperature outside was 36c .

AustriaThe room did not have an Iron or a laundry bag or slippers and when i asked for a ergonomic pillow I was told you don’t have. There was no sweet selection at breakfast and the ham looked like processed cheap ham.
The architecture was stunning and the property location surrounded by vines

AustriaPool is small and was quite crowded at times. There weren’t enough sun-beds, we waited 1 hour by the bar for guests to leave so we could have their sunbeds. some other guests were laying on the grass on their towels, others had to bring big chairs from inside to sit on. For the price of the hotel, you would expect to have a sunbed for everyone, especially when there’s more than enough space to have more. This is the first hotel I’ve stayed at which didn’t offer complimentary bottles of water in the room and there were no toiletries, sewing kit, etc.
Beautiful stylish hotel, nice staff, good food and wine, great location in the vineyards.

SloveniaWe understand most guests are German-speaking. Nonetheless, we hoped there would be more information in English. With the rise of AI, this problem should be easy to resolve.
Scheiblhofer deserves a slew of superlatives. The hotel stretches on an impressive estate measuring 84,123 square metres. The additional offerings of the hotel are incredibly diverse, and the wine list is among the richest in this part of Europe. If you organise a large event in this hotel, you can almost book the entire village of Andau. The hotel is distinctly different, unique and special in a positive way. It can be considered a wine hotel, spa resort or purebred meeting hotel. This philosophy gives the hotel character, setting it apart from the competition. The rest is often dependent on the subjective take of event organisers. In this case, though, almost everyone is thrilled about the idea and realisation. That is why we consider the hotel one of the most original ones we stayed in lately. Such a superb package is not the cheapest, but with a gourmet dinner and a tasteful breakfast, the price is fair. The superb restaurant staff masterfully contributes to the quality of the overall experience. Professionals from Hungary are masters of their trade and are always there when you need them. That goes for every staff member we encountered during our stay. It is delightful to stay in a hotel where they know how to treat their guests. The hotel spa stretches over 4000 square metres, which speaks volumes about the dimensions. After an event, attendees can relax in the spa to crown their day at the estate. A spacious sauna centre and infinity pool overlooking the vineyards are part of the superb spa, not to mention a selection of treatments and massages.

CroatiaTo keep it short: extremly soft and uncomfortable beds and pillows (huge dissapointment), dinner is not synchronised (you wait 20-25 minutes between dishes and than they forget what comes next) and not a great quality at all. Absolutely nothing to do in the village, especially after 19:00 pm. Staff is very young and unknowledgable. We have left a day early.
A pleasent stay for 2 days max, but nothing more than that.
