Lovely Locality, very nice staff, I mean all of them, from reception through waitress to chambermaids.. Even the TÜV guy who I saw there w was nice.. The food was really great and there is no way anyone would be hungry after those portions..

Location

The walls between rooms seem to be paper thin as I could hear everything that was going on in the room next door and the hallway. If there was a door inside my room that would separate the bedroom from the entrance to my room then it would be fine I am guessing. Also, since there is no AC I had to keep the windows and balcony door open, but then I had mosquitos in the room the entire night. Mosquito screens would really go a long way.

Excellent overall experience. Very welcoming and accommodating staff, especially the lovely team at reception. Great rooms, large bathrooms. Excellent swimming pool and steam room/sauna centre. Excellent quality breakfast, extremely varied selection of foods. Set in the most wonderful setting, nestled in the rolling hills of central Steiermark - perfect for exploring the local area on foot or on e-bikes.

Only less optimal element was the comfort of the beds, both of us (separate rooms) had very hard mattresses which were not conducive to the best quality of sleeps for either of us.

Super friendly staff, very clean and spacious room, excellent food in hotel restaurant (breakfast and dinner) with various vegan choices, beautiful and peaceful area around hotel, dogs are welcome. Hope to visit again soon!

Next door to the Padel Centre

No air conditioning or a kettle in the rooms

The location was excellent, very rural and stunning views, nice building and everything was very clean.

The only issues I had was the heat at the time of my trip, the rooms didn’t have AC or a fan, which meant I had to leave the balcony door open to allow some air into the room, what this meant was I could hear the (guessing drunk) voices from the rooms below / beside me all through the night as I was trying to sleep.

Most staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, large and I like the balcony. The main reason for staying is that the Padel courts are on site so the location is fantastic.

The only hotel I've ever stayed in that doesn't have a kettle and tea /coffee making facilities in the room. No fridge. No air con or fan in what is often heat wave temperatures. The food is mostly poor to fair (quite dry) , no variation, no daily specials, with the exception of a few dishes like the spaghetti bolognese and Zweibelrostbraten! Zweibel (onion) and rostbraten (roast beef) which is yummy! Also, no need for a clean every day, save some money and help the environment 😊

You get everything: beautiful landscape, swimming pool, excellent quality of food, playground, tennis, table tennis, hiking, biking. Cosy, relaxing, cannot wish for more. Absolutely great value for money.
