How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The location was quite nice, and the bed was amazing - I slept very well after a long day of travel. The staff is super friendly, and I enjoyed my short stay.

We had a hard time configuring the heating because if you turn it down then you are cold at night. We suggest number three on the thermostat and to ventilate the room before sleeping!
We really loved the town, it is very quiet and the Hof ia in a central location. The shower was great it was very nice to have a really hot shower after skiing? Breakfast is plentiful and you should definitely try their hot cocoa 😉

The drain in the shower was clogged.
Nice and cozy apartment with great restaurant and good breakfast. The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly.

The room we got is facing the road so in the early morning, around like 5:30-6:00 when the traffic starts you can really hear it. The breakfast was a bit early.
The breakfast was fine, fresh. There is plenty of parking. The bed was pretty comfortable.

The only downsides were the absence of soap in the bathroom and the bedding cleanliness could have been better. Despite these minor issues, it was overall a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
I had a pleasant one-night stay at Triebenerhof. The room was nice, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, making the experience very welcoming. The breakfast was good, and I appreciated the stress-free parking and the property's close proximity to the town.

Quiet place, simply furnished room, hotel has restaurant. I only used the accommodation for one night when travelling from Greece, but I would have happily spent a few days holiday there.

Big room with 2 beds, as we’re traveling with 2 kid’s, the big bed was soft and comfortable but the other one not. The bathroom was not like in the picture with walk in shower, was an old one. Nothing special at the breakfast. We had to ask for something extra for our baby as it was nothing for him.

Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone. According to our reservation on Booking.com, we were supposed to pay €124. However, upon arrival, the hotel added unjustified extra charges simply because we had children with us! They charged additional fees for breakfast, even though the kids are very young — as if children are a burden rather than guests. We had booked a room suitable for two adults and two children, but they gave us a room clearly meant for only two people. When we tried to explain this, the woman at the front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. She even tried to charge an additional €10 without any clear explanation. Is this really how guests should be treated? No respect for the reservation, poor service, and unkind staff? Sadly, it was a very disappointing experience. The breakfast was very bad

Traditional inn, well equipped and very clean. Large comfortable rooms. Ideal for the weary traveller. Warm welcome and evening meal option for us worked very well. Lovely food. Perfect for us travelling across Austria.

It's a very cute hotel with a high standard. Run by a very nice family. Very close from the main road. We stay here on the way to our holiday.
