We found our short stay very pleasant: the staff was friendly and welcoming (including their adorable corgi), we had everything we needed and the breakfast was excellent!

The friendly couple hosting the house - lots of laughs. The price was reasonable as Pertisau is very expensive in August. The breakfast was good and it's nice to have a bar in the house.

It was a nice hotel! The owner clearly made a big effort to make sure everything was neat. Especially the breakfast was amazing! Also really appreciated that they were willing to do our laundry for 10 euros.

It turned out we had a whirlpool! Amazing, but there was black stuff coming out of the holes. A bit gross and surprising since everything else seemed so perfectly clean. When we told the owner when checking out she did not respond to that at all but only told us to pay for the laundry, which seemed quite strange to us. The owner is not very communicative in general. She did not really provide any information when we checked in. It turned out that we could have received a guest card, which would have saved us a lot of money on bus fares and discount on the cable cars. It would have been great if this card would be proactively given to you upon arrival and if some information about the area would be given.

Very clean comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Friendly personal and a great atmosphere all around. Would seriously consider coming back.

It is a little bit away from most of the restaurants and other food places as well as the lake and doesn't offer any dinner a the place itself. Still only a marginal point to all the good the place offers

We had a wonderful stay at Two Brothers Inn. The room was very spacious and clean and had all we need for our stay. The view of the mountains from the room was beautiful. The inn is less than a 15 min walk to the lakeside which was convenient enough to get around without a car. The staff were excellent and so helpful, they let us borrow some bug spray for a hike after we asked if it was necessary. Would highly recommend staying here for your visit to Achensee!

Great care was taken in the design of each and every detail in this little gem of an inn. The location is perfect for cross-country skiing, the tracks are only a few minutes walk away. The host was extremely nice and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

I liked everything, but for a longer stay, it might be difficult to dry your sports clothes in the small room.

A new hotel with a wonderful relaxing atmosphere with very welcome host. You can also enjoy the modern art paintings. They are exposed throughout the hotel and contribute to the atmosphere. Great breakfast, delicious coffee . Convenient parking lot. Nothing at night does not disturb sleep - outside the window is quiet and the internal soundproofing is good. Comfortable and large bed.

I absolutely loved how immaculately clean everything was at Two Brothers Inn. You could genuinely eat off the floor in the bathroom, it was that spotless! I have no idea what their cleaning routine involves, but it’s incredible. Our room was super cozy, with a private balcony offering a breathtaking view of the mountains and the surrounding snowy cabins, inns, and hotels. The location in Pertisau was perfect, it’s such a charming and tranquil village, known for its small population and pristine cleanliness, which really makes you feel at peace. The staff, especially the lovely lady we interacted with, went above and beyond, she was incredibly kind, proactive, and gave us great recommendations for local activities. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast, which included amazing coffee, fresh juice, yogurt, a variety of pastries, and homemade cookies. Everything tasted fresh, clean, and well-prepared. Additionally, the parking was super convenient, just a few steps away from the Inn, and the room itself was warm, cozy, and modern with an eclectic twist, perfect for a winter stay. As a lovely gesture, we were gifted a small bottle of wine for New Year’s when we checked out on the morning of December 31st, which added a special touch to our experience. The location was ideal, as we were able to enjoy a walk around the beautiful lake, take some stunning photos, and visit a nearby restaurant for pizza, hot chocolate, and beer, a memorable highlight of our trip.

Honestly, I don’t have much to criticize about our stay. If I had to nitpick, I would suggest adding a special plastic mat or shoe tray in the room for snowy or muddy outdoor shoes, as the carpet throughout the room could get dirty otherwise. Additionally, while the room was well-equipped, I would have loved a wider selection of tea and more than just two tea bags per night—it would have been nice to make more tea in the room. The check-in process was mostly smooth, though we did have to wait a little while for the owner/receptionist to greet us. It wasn’t a big issue, but something to note. I was initially worried about potential noise from guests returning from parties (there was one nearby on the night of our stay), but this was completely unfounded—the guests, mostly over 45ish, were wonderfully quiet, making the atmosphere peaceful and relaxing.

We had a wonderful time. The hotel is beautiful, each room individually designed with beautiful art throughout. The owners made us feel very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great too. We would definitely come back.
