One of the best breakfasts ever at a mid-range hotel; delicious fresh food, including warm crepes. Mr. Flockner and his young daughter were terrifically friendly and eager to share some tips and free public transit vouchers. I was particularly impressed to see Mr Flockner making the rounds of the breakfast room to check in with his guests and see if they needed any further info.

Martin the owner was lovely and made us feel very welcome. Great location, walkable to train station and center with bus across the street if you needed it. Solid breakfast too!

Very clean. Very good facilities. 30 minutes easy walking to the castle while in between you see all the important sights. Has a parking at the backyard for 10 euros per day

Clean, modern and comfortable room with great shower. The check in was easy with a very warm welcome from our hosts who were very helpful with whatever we needed. We would stay here again. Great location within easy walking distance to main train station. The hotel provided free bus tickets. This was fantastic as my husband wasn’t well and not up to walking to the city centre. And the bus stop is in front of the hotel. We definitely recommend this hotel that served up a great breakfast.

This exceeded my expectations. Amazing staff and lovely rooms and breakfast. Would highly recommend this especially to the English. Had everything others were lacking. Air conditioning, kettles and big mugs in rooms. Best shower and a TV that works with your streaming services (which is a big deal when you are in a country that only has German speaking stations)

Everything was perfect. Especially location - near historical centre, bus stop next to the building, very kind and helpful staff, very clean, wonderful apartment with a splendid view to Salzburg and beautiful surroundings.

The room was overlooking the street and was very noisy. The door to the bathroom was sliding which is not great for privacy.

The property is exactly at the bus stop which is very convenient if you need to go to the city center. There is a parking, however, the free spots can be limited. The room is small but well though of to fit your belongings.

Excellent hotel, in a great location. You can walk to the center, and the bus stop is in front of the hotel. You also get a free bus ticket during your stay. A big advantage is the private parking. Everything was super clean, and since the room was ready we were able to check in even before the official check-in time. The air conditioning works great. The breakfast is also very good and varied. Recommendations for this hotel.

The curtain by my daughter's bed (bed by the bathroom) does not go to the floor so she was woken up by the light in the early morning.

- We stayed in the Superior Family room for 1 night in mid May. We were concerned that booking.com only listed 1 king bed for this room but there are 2 king beds (I had to look at the floor plan to confirm that). This is a nice new facility although it is a bit cramped. The beds are very comfortable. The bed that is near the bathroom only has 1 nightstand. - As other reviewers have noted, the elevator stops on a landing and then you need to take stairs either up or down to get to the rooms. Surprisingly, you also need to take stairs to get to their reception. This wasn't a problem for us. The property does have a small parking lot behind it, I regret not knowing about that because we were dropping off a rental car and would have parked there to drop off our luggage before returning the car. - Villa Flockner gave us free mobility passes to use for all the public transportation in Salzburg. Bus 1, 2, and 23 have stops right across the street and will take you to Mirabelle Palace and Gardens and across the river to Old Salzburg. We also took them 1 stop to reach Hauptbahnhof instead of walking with our bags to the train station. - I was very impressed with the buffet breakfast. They served several egg options, meats, cheeses, croissants, breads, orange juice, tea, and coffee. Delicious!

Bathroom has upper window without any kind of curtain or blinber so basicly if lights on, people from the opposite building might see you in the shower!

Recently renovated hotel rooms. Parking lots in the backyards. Walking distance from the old center. Decent breakfast. Friendly stuff.

Nice hotel, comfortable clean rooms, and friendly staff. The city center is about a 20 minute walk away along the river. Very pretty. But if you choose not to walk, they provide you with a free bus pass. Definitely recommend this place.

Nothing. We had a great time in 2 different rooms.

Great spot for transport, the stop is right opposite and with Salzburg mobility pass given free when you arrive, you can travel around anywhere for nothing, including to the airport. This is a very airy and light building with 2 rooms either side on each floor behind a door, so noise and privacy very good. We had a wonderful roof terrace which looked over Salzburg. The room was extremely clean and with modern fixtures. The owner was very friendly, accommodating and did us a huge favour on the last day as our flight was late in the evening. Breakfast efficient, well stocked and liked the coffee machine.

Convenient location - this means we can walk to the main train station or catch a tram right in front. We stayed in the new building, which had very modern, cosy, and clean room. Breakfast was really nice and offered a wide variety of choices.

Just too short to appreciate the venue.

We needed on night in Salzburg, and the room was perfect. Bed comfortable. Strong pressure in shower. Newly completed room with sufficient space. Bar fridge was welcome and the aircon worked well. Location was great for 2 days of touring and access to train station was barely a few minutes walk. A few restaurants in the area, but have to recommend their breakfast. Really good and amazing.
