The lighting feels quite dim overall, possibly because we're accustomed to the brighter environment back in our hometown in Hong Kong. Additionally, we lived on the second floor, which made it quite tiring to carry our luggage upstairs.

The checkin is very rigid for a checkin at distance: instead of receiving the instructions via mail they were received via phone call when in front of the door. No possibility to communicate prior to the arrival. All questions were answered by: please check booking details. Not necesarly a bad point but for sure a point for improvement.

The location is great, easy to arrive and walking distance from town. Parking on premises.

This property is just 2 minutes walk distance to the funicular station as well as bus stops are nearby. If you don’t drive, I will suggest you to take the bus from Obertraun to Hallstatt instead of taking the boat to arrive.

The check in process is a bit difficult if you don't have internet. The employee gives directions by phone to enter the house. Chech in could be easier if the check-in password is shared by booking.com

The beds were not very comfortable.

Location was perfect, close walking distance to everything but on a quiet street. The balcony was very nice and big. The host was so friendly and accommodating, they let us check in early and leave our car parked there after check out as well.

No service for taxi on check out date. We have to find taxi by ourself to train staion. So lucky we find one on the day before check out so discuss and ask him to pick us in the other day.

Overall cleanliness. Examples: crumbs, seeds, smears in refrigerator from previous guests. There were hairs in the shower and on the floor in the bathroom. Toothpaste on the bathroom mirror. Dirt and hair in the corners of the room.

Difficult to locate at first attempt since there are no signboard or nameplate visible from busy road..owner should try to arrange for this or atleast add image of adjacent small church like structure in his photos so that visitor can locate the street in which they have to take turn

This location is unbeatable in Hallstatt, especially because it comes with a parking spot. The apartment is the the full 2nd floor and below is another apartment. The check in was easy as you call the owner and they will walk you through the parking, entrance, and will talk you through Wifi, amenities, etc. There are multiple blankets, pillows, and other comforts available. The apartment is about a 5 minute walk from the grocery store and the main bus drop-off, meaning it is a little protected from the noise and tourists. It is about a 15 - 20 minute stroll from the "Hallstatt overlook" photo spot but the walk is beautiful. The balcony was perfect for relaxing and playing cards/having wine. All that is needed to make a simple dinner or breakfast is there in the kitchen. There was coffee left over from a previous tenant but would be good to bring your own ground coffee if that's a requirement for you in the morning. A reusable filter basket is available for use.

It was a pity that we could not find any wardrobe to hang our clothes in the apartment given the adequate space provided. Also, we suspect that the sheets were not changed before we checked in. Could have been better given the price that was charged for the stay

Location was near to supermarket and attractions. However it was not clear on the map that it was actually closer to Hallstatt Lahn jetty instead of the main Hallstatt jetty
