Superb location next to Melk centre and abbey. Also nice to have a walk around. Nice staff, good breakfast and a really good own restaurant. Plenty of free parking.

Location was great! Short walk into center of town. Great parking next to hotel. Room was comfortable. Restaurant for dinner was good. Breakfast was nice. Great nights sleep! Great value for price paid!

It was quite hot during our stay. A fan was provided, but it was not enough. We were not given proper instructions for the elevator to our room on the second floor. We still carried our luggage up a few stairs, which could have been avoided if instructions were given to use the right elevator.

The location is in a convenient location for exploring Melk and the surrounding area. The rooms were very clean. The staff at Reception are very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

I missed a minibar.

The Wachauerhof was an affordable option for our family - and exceeded our exspectations by far. The hotel is situated in the heart of Melk - other restaurants, the Abtei and historical center just a few steps away. Even we slept (due to the heat) with the windows wide open, the night was very quiet. The hotel stuff was very friendly & helpful, the room very clean, the breakfast just excellent.

No WiFi in the room- had to go down every time I needed to access something. It was worse for me since I was spending a weekend here in the middle of a business trip- I had to work a bit and needed Internet. Also no A/C, just a single table fan. I was there during the “heatwave”. It was very hot.

There is no way to make a coffee or tea in the room. We wanted to iron a dress as well, there was no ironbox in room. The one we got from reception was cordless, so it wont heat up, not much useful TBH.

The hotel is perfect for accommodation in Melk. The rooms are comfortable, clean, the breakfast is very good. The hotel has a parking/garage where the car can be left without problems. The hotel restaurant is very good for dinner or lunch. It is very close to Melk Abbey (a few minutes' walk), located close to the city centre, the train station and supermarkets. Perfect for walks through the city or on the banks of the Danube. The staff is very friendly. We have been coming here for many years, and I hope we will continue to do so in the future.

There is no air conditioning in the hotel, which concerned us at first, but it really did not turn out to be a problem at all during the time that we were there.

It is a charming hotel located in the center of town; everything in Melk was very walkable. Breakfast was bountiful and the staff was lovely. We had a misunderstanding regarding payment and checkout that took many days to resolve, and they were most patient at the hotel. In the end, when Booking.com could not fully resolve our issue, we settled remaining payment directly with the hotel.

There is no air conditioning- we visited on a very hot weekend so while there are fans in the room, it was a bit uncomfortable in the afternoon.

The hotel has a great location, a five minute walk from the abbey and really close to all other local sights and the Danube. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the hotel also has a pleasant restaurant where you can have a meal in the evening.

Not enough breakfast. We came ať 9 o clock and there wasn't any choice. For 3*hotel I think it could be better system of closing door of room.

Only inconvenience for us was the orientation of our room - first floor, looking to the entrance where people are smoking...

It was a one night stay in the middle of a journey onwards, and the hotel was good for that purpose. Good to be located in the central area, we mins walk from the city center and the abbey. Good it has a internal courtyard parking - however it is busy, but we found a slot somehow.
