Superb location next to Melk centre and abbey. Also nice to have a walk around. Nice staff, good breakfast and a really good own restaurant. Plenty of free parking.

Very helpful and friendly staff, great location indeed, facility to store the bicycle.

No air condition (in the room is provided small fan, room was really very hot so you want to open the window (at least for night) to cool the room. But when you have room like we had with window to hotel parking it is super noisy both in the night as well as from early morning. The breakfast is not very good,,the range of selection is fine, but food is rather average or even lower quality (ham/salami, vegetables, fruits, bakery, juice). Also when you get 2 full buses of tourists its problem to find a table

Location and restaurant

Location was great! Short walk into center of town. Great parking next to hotel. Room was comfortable. Restaurant for dinner was good. Breakfast was nice. Great nights sleep! Great value for price paid!

Room was a bit warm and door to outside did not work properly to keep open during the night.

Good location, nice team, nice standard premium rooms, restaurant available, really good breakfast, bike garage closed at night and under video control. Also start for Donau Cruise tour to Krems

The location is in a convenient location for exploring Melk and the surrounding area. The rooms were very clean. The staff at Reception are very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

It was quite hot during our stay. A fan was provided, but it was not enough. We were not given proper instructions for the elevator to our room on the second floor. We still carried our luggage up a few stairs, which could have been avoided if instructions were given to use the right elevator.

Excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, great breakfast and a good place for dinner too.

The Wachauerhof was an affordable option for our family - and exceeded our exspectations by far. The hotel is situated in the heart of Melk - other restaurants, the Abtei and historical center just a few steps away. Even we slept (due to the heat) with the windows wide open, the night was very quiet. The hotel stuff was very friendly & helpful, the room very clean, the breakfast just excellent.

I missed a minibar.

Location, cleanliness. Breakfast was very good.

No WiFi in the room- had to go down every time I needed to access something. It was worse for me since I was spending a weekend here in the middle of a business trip- I had to work a bit and needed Internet. Also no A/C, just a single table fan. I was there during the “heatwave”. It was very hot.

Cosy, feels like home

Very good breakfast. And helpful staff. Parking was free. location-wise also this hotel is very good.

There is no way to make a coffee or tea in the room. We wanted to iron a dress as well, there was no ironbox in room. The one we got from reception was cordless, so it wont heat up, not much useful TBH.

The hotel is perfect for accommodation in Melk. The rooms are comfortable, clean, the breakfast is very good. The hotel has a parking/garage where the car can be left without problems. The hotel restaurant is very good for dinner or lunch. It is very close to Melk Abbey (a few minutes' walk), located close to the city centre, the train station and supermarkets. Perfect for walks through the city or on the banks of the Danube. The staff is very friendly. We have been coming here for many years, and I hope we will continue to do so in the future.

The room was big, clean.

Pillows very uncomfortable, there is no condition. Breakfast was dissapointed: we went for breakfast 7:30 and there was empty bowls, no egg ant etc
