You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

When we booked this, I knew this would be my husband's favorite place in our month in Europe - turned out, it was the favorite for both of us!! Beautifully rustic, and the view is even better than the photos!! The owner met us down at the car and helped carry our (So sorry: ridiculous amount of) stuff up to the Hutte. Through a cow field. With cows in it. Small cows, not many, maybe 5. Then the owner pulled up a chair on the porch and we had a nice visit. I'm glad I asked him who Walter was. I won't spoil it for you here. We did not leave even once after we got there. The view was beautiful beyond description - the Hutte was spotless, cozy, rustic but nicely appointed (other than no cork screw!!). Lots of fuzzy warm blankets, a nice little fire pit outside, cow bells clanging softly in the background, a ski run just above us, completely private - so green and wonderful!! (Tip: If you have a car, pack only what clothes you really need for those days. Bring mostly groceries, coffee and wine. Also - the road up the property is a bit of a nail biter, but it is nicely paved, safe and beautiful!! There is a bit of a hike from the parking area to the Hutte, so wear smart shoes like I didn't.)

FranceBeautiful Location everything was perfect. The cabin is very well kept and really clean, and the linens were superb and so comfy super good quality. The Host was super kind and helpful and checking in and out was so easy. We had a wonderful weekend and we would love to return to stay again. If you are looking to be with nature and get away from the maddening crowd this is the place. We look forward to returning one day soon to Walter's Hut :)

Czech RepublicFor someone or sometimes it can be harder to get to the lodge. You walk on your own with all bags and it is 150m a little uphill through meadows
An amazing location, well equiped lodge, fire in the stove, view outside, the terrace with view, grill and chairs, position solitarily in the meadows, “older lifestyle 😃”
