Floor with beautiful carpet, but under the carpet it was wooden floor. So quite noisy with kids. 2 double bed was pushed next to each other. So the whole family had to sleep in the same bed… Some long black hair in the clean bed (probably the cleaning lady’s) and spider in an upper corner next to the bed).

Beautiful small town. Historic building. Good breakfast. Big playground.

The room was smelling not nice and dustbins was not closed.

The place has a really good playground for the kids. Breakfast was delicious but limited selection. The area was amazing with the nature and silence.

The restaurant seems to offer only multiple course and expensive options. We decided to eat elsewhere.

Location is excellent. Quiet, safe, very nice neighborhood and within easy reach of several area attractions. Breakfast had a bit of a regional flair which was very nice.

Tasty food, all dishes and drinks are local ones, so interesting to try. Free admission to nearby swimming pool, which was a real pleasure during our stay in the mid of August. No problem with car parking. Room was sufficiently big for four of us

The hotel is very nice, fully equipped in a small and quiet town, 15 min. from Hallstatt. Breakfast was great as well. I would recommend!

Everything was fine. One thing I would like to point out. At first glance, it seems that the shower only has a head shower. However, the bottom of the shower hose can be disconnected, so you get a separate, mobile shower head.

The accommodation is about halfway between Hallsatt and Bad Ischl, with free parking. There is an adventure park and playground next to the hotel, which is ideal for families with children. The family room- 2 large double beds side by side, was comfortable and clean. We were at the end of March, heating was on, not cold. The toilet is separate from the bathroom, both were clean. The bathroom had all the amenities promised at the time of booking. The staff are friendly and the breakfast is delicious.

The light in the bathroom is controlled by a motion sensor. I am not a fan of that. If you have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom you are faced with some pretty bright light. I would have preferred a simple light switch. The shower construction is also a little awkward. The shower itself is great but when you open and close the door the water gets dragged along the floor with the door. That is a bad shower design.

The location of the hotel is just great. Away from major roadways in a very quiet part of town. However, it is only a 5 minute walk to the train station to go to Hallstatt and just about the same to go into town. The hotel doesn't have its own swimming pool but the towns public pool is only a few steps away and the entrance fee is covered with your hotel stay. There is a bike rental shop (Bikes4you) within a 10 minute walking distance. They have great bikes and nice service.

A constant unpleasant smell from the toilet. Light sensor in the bathroom which let the light on for couple of minutes which was especially disturbing at nights.

A great location within the village as well as near starting points for cycling or hiking tours. A great bonus is a nearby swimming pool which is free for hotel guests. Great breakfast with lots of local products.

When having dinner at the restaurant one evening (100 euros for a good snitzel, a fresh fish plate and some wine) we have specifically asked not to be seated in the small room for breakfast again (you get seated with name tags). The waiter promised, but we found our name tag in the small room next morning nevertheless. During dinner, we asked for salad instead of potatoes with the snitzel, got both potatoes and a huge salad, got charged for both..There was a really weird noise coming from the speakers during dinner time which gave a bit of a headavhe. While the food itself was good, overall, I wouldnt have there dinner again.

Bad Goseirn is a good spot to explore the surrounding area by car. It's a beautiful town among the mountains with a little river. The value is much better than in Hallstatt but still not very reasonable.:) The room was fine and clean, it had all needed. It's a +++ that they are very welcoming with the four legged family members.Breakfast quality is high above average. The family running the hotel is very friendly.

Very friendly staff, easy check in and comfortable nice room, perfect for family stay. The breaakfast was amazing too. This hotel is excellent base to visit early Hallstatt.

1. During hot season, there should be fans provided to ventilate inside rooms. 2. A lot of insects enter the rooms especially huge spiders.

The entire place is cozy and wonderful. My family liked the river view balcony! The food options during Dinner time is exceptional! Breakfast healthy options are quite many and more than enough.
