The house is wonderful, very well equipped from kitchen to games. Upgraded in all the right places. Clean spacious bathrooms, large comfy beds. Wide space outside to relax in.

This has to be one of the best places I have ever stayed. The grounds were so well kept, the house was so clean and tidy. You could stay for a long weekend and not have to travel anywhere as there is so much you can do on the property. A complimentary bottle of local wine, all the pantry and fridge items to get by are supplied. Alpaca food for the trio, games in the garage, I will be returning 200% to stay here. I can not thank this host enough for sharing their home with my family, it was one of the best stays I have experienced.

We had a wonderful weekend at this absolutely stunning holiday home. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house is spacious, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. There was something for everyone — we had so much fun playing billiards and darts, going on peaceful walks through the picturesque surroundings, and of course, feeding the friendly alpacas, which was a real highlight! The interiors are just as impressive — comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms, generous living spaces, and a modern, well-appointed kitchen with every amenity you could ask for. The location is perfect — tranquil, scenic, and a true escape from the everyday. A special mention to the owners, who were incredibly responsive, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly and are already looking forward to coming back!

We stayed with our extended family for 2 nights to attend a wedding. The house has plenty of space for everyone. The backyard was a hit with the playground and the alpacas to feed. The fire pit and the outdoor dining area. We loved how clean it was with all fresh linen and plenty of extra blankets. We also loved everything available in the kitchen with everything you need to cook with staples in the cupboard for use also including little treat like marshmallows for the fire. Having toys and activities for the kids is a great idea so we didn’t have to bring heaps of our own stuff and the kids had new things to keep them entertained inside and outside. The gym area also got some use.

My family loved our getaway, the only two negatives I could mention were that none of the bathroom, toilet or bedroom doors had locks and the dining room chairs were very uncomfortable.

The house was bigger than expected, toys, scooters, playground, cubby house and the field made it easy for the adults to relax while the kids had so much fun with plenty of freedom and space. The fact the place was dog friendly made it more special to have the opportunity to include our fury friends. The property included everything in the kitchen plus firewood for the outdoor fire place. So happy with our stay.

Bedrooms were on the smaller size (but the master was lovely) and quite a few wasps around (but that's me being picky!)

Land size and outdoor area with a huge play area and pool was fabulous! Our kids had such a fun time staying here for the whole weekend. Great size lounge room and kitchen with HEAPS of facilities to use. All you needed to pack was food and clothes, everything else was there! Gorgeous bathrooms that look recently renovated. Excellent host, I couldn't fault them; thank you for your quick responses and generous arrival gift. We will definitely recommend and be back in future!

The house is amazing. It’s beautifully presented and has been stocked with all manner of indoor and outdoor games and activities not to mention a stunning pool and pool table. The bathrooms are stunning and the whole house has been tastefully furnished and decorated. Kitchen provides all that’s needed to cook up a storm and a great bbq too

The whole property is beautiful, loved how kid friendly it is, very homey touches. The outside fire pit was a hit. And is in a great location, the house itself is on a large block of land which means the kids could ride their bikes and wonder around while being fenced in.

Only small detail is the toilet paper would have been better if it was 2 ply & not 1 ply. There is nothing more we could fault.

The house was large enough to have our own space to have quiet time. It has beautiful gardens & pool, that are well maintained. It is close to all activities in the Hunter Valley. They were really easy to get to. We all had a lovely time during our stay. It is quiet & secluded. The whole setting was lovely. Just what my sisters & I needed.

AMAZING property. House was so cleaned, big rooms, modern bathrooms and the kids enjoyed the pools and lots of outdoor activities. A well looked after property, great and private location for families. Next time we are going to Huntlee we will definitely choose Mountain view again. Host was great and easy to deal with too.
