We didn’t even stay the night

The bed was very old, springs were prominent, walked through a spiders web. No one else at the motel, window frames broken. Dirty shower drains etc. We walked in and walked out and did not stay the night. Unfortunately non-refundable so we lost our money too.

Needs a bit of maintenance.

A room with a nice view. It was ground floor with carparking directly out front. It did require a few steps to get into unit. It had a little deck out front which would be nice to sit out on in warmer months. View from sitting at small dining table was very pleasant. Good location on west end of town. Beds and linen were good. Heating very satisfactory. Reasonable living area. Roomy bathroom. Reasonably clean presentation. It is an attractive looking building.....Reasonable room rate at last minute booking.

This is what must be an older establishment that is certainly showing its age. It would certainly benefit with a good external clean (water blasting and maybe paint) as there is green growth on upper decks and external surfaces. A good garden trim and tidy up also would bring a bit of life to the exterior appearance. The internal side needs a real freshen up with bathroom makeover. regrouting of tiles on floors, new washers on all taps as they were extremely hard to turn off, so they didn't drip all night. New floor covering as present ones are marked/ water damaged or stained, as to the curtains. There was electric blanket single bed but was upside down and not able to be connected to PowerPoint. Ants appeared on mass from nowhere when anything put on desk next to fridge. Mentioned to staff but they said they hadn't seen and didn't seem to be worried about. The smell of bleach was overpowering on entering the unit and required a complete airing of unit and heaps of water in shower recess being flushed around the area to wash away. These are suggestions and observations given to help improve the complex. Not a personal complaint to managers. Most off these observations did not give a bad experience but we would have enjoyed better if they are improved.
