Spacious for our group of 10 people. It has great amenities and the kitchen was well stocked with plates, cutlery and kitchenware for a large group. Lots of seating which was appreciated by the group. Fireplace is a bonus in winter. Close to beach and cafes.

The house was very clean, easy to access, was well stocked and had everything we need! The cafe recommendations were great, everything in the house worked and we absolutely loved the location! So close to the beach & cafes/shops and very relaxing! The hosts were very attentive and provided us with all the information we needed for a beautiful long weekend stay.

If I had to pick something (because it is pretty awesome and different to find anything we didn’t like), I’d say some rails on all stairs for the little ones and the old ones but that’s about it.

The house is so clean and roomy. Lots of places to chill. Very clean and roomy for families. Nice little pool. So many little extras like spices in the kitchen, pool toys, and mozzie repellant. We were a party of 8 and there was heaps of room. Would definitely stay again 😀

There was nothing to not like! It was 100% fabulous! Just a heads up for those staying with dogs who are protective... There is a path/walking track at the back of the house that is frequently used, so protective dogs may react. Also, it can be difficult to keep pets away from the driveway/gate, as under the house is open and they can walk around freely. This is by no means a criticism, our stay was perfect!

The owners have thought of everything! So very generous with the little extras like sunscreen, face wipes, condiments etc. Not to mention the magnesium flakes for the big bath tub!! The whole house was very comfortable and welcoming. I especially loved that there was a separate self-contained area for my daughter, son-in-law and their new baby. The pool area was perfect, a nice big space to sit and relax poolside. The balcony was a favorite place for our family to gather and entertain... Such beautiful breezes! Tony & Isabel went above and beyond, answering numerous questions before our arrival, and then going out of their way to drop over a new milk frother when the original one wouldn't work. We loved our stay so very much! Even our dogs didn't want to leave!

Wifi was slow, but we didn't need it or use it while on holiday so not an issue for us.

Great spot, easy walk to the beach. Clean. Comfortable beds. Everything was provided and much more than we expected. Beach trolley, bucket and shovel, portacot, high chair, books, games, extra blankets and pillows, beach towels, and many other small things around the house that made the stay very easy. The kitchen was very well stocked. Kids loved watching the planes go over. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and very quick to respond to any communication.

Relaxing space - great for a girls weekend.

We had a slightly late check in because we weren’t told the property was ready. One of our group members arrived a little early and was allowed to wait out the back while the mopping was finalized and she would be told when we could go in. So we thought it was going to be a late check in. We all just waited out the back chatting until we were told we could go in. No one came. After some time, I finally decided to go in and ask if we could at least put our cold groceries in the fridge as it was over 30 degrees that day. The house was empty. The person had left without telling us it was now ready. The house is situated in the airport landing flight path and is loud. Being a regional airport, there’s not really any night flights so sleep isn’t affected. However, I can see how those with sensory issues etc. could potentially be upset with it. It really didn’t bother us though.

The property itself is just absolutely gorgeous. The natural and blue tones of the house tied with beach vibe decor really set the scene. It’s exactly what a coastal house should be, stunning. There is ample sitting space around the property between the book nook, lounge room, pergola and balcony - it was very spacious and you didn’t feel like you were on top of one another! We also loved how the sun sets on the back side of the house. It was easy to get some pool time and morning fresh air without the sun on you straight away, especially in this oddly hot winter end! Lockbox is always an easy choice for checkin! I like how the code changes per guest as well. Makes it feel very secure!

The home is located directly under a flight path to the airport, but fortunately it is not very busy and any noise generated ceases before late in the evening. We stayed at a property on the same street last year, so I was aware of those conditions, and it wasn’t an issue.

The home was roomy and ideally located for our purposes. Also, I am a very early riser, so my husband and I stayed in the separate bedroom from the main house so that I would not disturb anyone else when I awakened. We all enjoyed the pool table in the garage where my son and daughter had spirited mini tournament with lots of laughs! Of course the beach is in easy walking distance with plenty of shops and cafes also in walking or biking distance. We rode the TransLink bus system when my son was not available to drive us and the buses were clean, safe and efficient. There are so many beautiful hiking destinations close by that we didn’t have time to get to them all. The owners were readily accessible and great about responding to any questions.

To be completely honest, we loved everything. I couldn't fault the hosts or property. 10/10 recommend.

The home was stunning, and we loved that everything was thoughtfully provided. There are so many positives about this property and the hosts. As it is their holiday home, they've thought of everything. It's so comfortable and welcoming, and there are so many places to congregate or unwind in solitude. I also love that the home was such a nice temperature, even in the middle of winter. We only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it all more! The entire process was incredibly smooth, and we felt well-informed throughout. I highly recommend it and would stay again.

Hosts informed us 30 minutes before check in that our dog would not be allowed inside. We would’ve chosen another house had we known this as she is an inside dog - especially in winter.

Attention to detail and thoughtfulness towards guests. It felt generous. The house is perfect for sharing as there are plenty of spaces to relax both together and apart. Security is good and the house backs onto a park with a walkway to the beach. Loved the coffee machine with coffee beans provided.

Perfect for a group or family. Everything you need right down to spices in the pantry. We were here for work but loved spending time on the verandah overlooking the park at the end of the day. Easy walk to a great little cafe, comfy beds, great location. We will be back for some R&R next time. Thank you Tony and Isabel.

Such a great house and perfect for families. Beautiful homely house and immaculately kept. Beds were super comfy with beautiful bedding and pillows which for our family is a game changer and pet friendly. The house is extremely well equipped with everything you need and all perfectly placed. Don’t be deterred by it being closely located to the airport because all though you have planes flying over, they are minimal and during the day so we hardly noticed that overall. Hosts are amazing! Great communication and instructions for everything you need to know. We will definitely stay there again 😊
