Poor privacy from uphill houses- suggest window tinting or shutters rather than blinds to let in some light but keep privacy.

Very homely and welcoming. Beautiful decor and exceptional linen. Everything you could possibly want was available. Heat pump was turned on before our arrival which made the property even more homely especially with the cold dismal weather we arrived in.

This property is dog friendly, BUT there was a lot of dog poo around the property and my husband stepped in some and luckily he noticed before walking it into your lovely property. This is the only thing I would fault about this property. I would suggest that a "dog poo hunt" and clean up is done after people with dogs stay here as not everyone cleans up after their dog and it was pretty much scattered around the whole property.

I think I slept in one of the most comfortable beds I have EVER slept in here. The house was warm and comfortable and although there is no fire, the host had the split system on warm for us for when we arrived so the house was nice and warm when we arrived. The little touches like the locally sourced provisions provided, coffee machine (coffee pods provided) was a lovely addition. The house provides a washing machine and dryer also (with laundry liquid) which was great since we had been travelling around and needed to wash some of our clothes. We didn't use the outdoor area or fire pit as it was a bit wet, but there is also firewood and fire lighting materials provided if you should wish to use the fire pit. Although it's not exactly overlooking the bay, there is a track down to the beach which isn't a huge walk and is lovely first thing in the morning. The road that the house is on is an alternative drive over to Allona (it is gravel and we did need to put our car into 4wd in the wet), but it's a lovely drive over the mountain with a few things to look at along the way and it has access to the mountain track.

Bathroom needs an update - functional but dated eg fixed shower head. Needs bedside lamps - you have to get out of bed to turn lights on & off.

So well appointed & very comfortable-loved the wee garden & deck. Thank you for the local treats - the popcorn was delicious. We had a great stay & really appreciated the nice touches like Netflix, beach towels & treats.

A bedside lamp would have been helpful. Pub was expensive and we weren’t prepared enough for none of the cafes to be open so didn’t bring enough food.

Beautifully maintained property. The bed was really comfortable to sleep in which was great to recharge after a day of hiking. A really relaxing place to stay. Well equipped with the essentials we needed. Beautiful artisan soaps, loved the specialty teas. Felt like a really lovely place to stay and relax. Also smelt very nice.

The house has everything you need. It appears to be very new. Nice shower and very comfortable bed. Well situated. To access interesting places to visit and close to the cruising terminal. Access to the island easy via a car ferry which runs every 20 minutes and takes about 10 minutes for the crossing.

The house is beautiful and so comfortable from the kitchen Banquette the deck and the fabulous fire pit where we enjoyed a cold clear Bruny night star gazing and hoping for an Aurora .The appliances are first class ,the kitchen gorgeous I Nespresso coffee machine for an Irish coffee nightcap . Great location you can hear the waves breaking everything wonderful is close Pennicot boat for a heartstopping adventure !Get Shucked for the best Oyster lunch or breakfast 😋 great local store for provisions . There was nothing to complain about. It was stunning.

This was the most beautiful wee spot to stay. Everything from the location, the size of the accommodation to the picturesque grounds, and the surroundings were stunning. Even though it was raining the whole time we were there, we didn't care. From every angle in the living area, you could see the scenery outside, just stunning. We didn't want to leave! Everything from the dining nook to the couches and bedrooms was of high quality and so comfy. We will be back for sure, but maybe when the weather is much better so we can explore Adventure Bay and Bruny more. Thank you for the awesome accommodation we loved it! ❤️👌
