The ants.

Absolutely stunning place!! It is so beautifully designed and has all you need. Magical villa to stay in. Only let down was the ants in the pantry and on the kitchen bench. We had bought some amazing local produce that, unfortunately, we had to throw away due to the ants. Other than that, it was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. The villa is spacious.

I did notice some of the drains had an odour, particularly the laundry/washing machine.

The mattress

Beautiful remote peaceful and quiet. Everything you need in a kitchen though the mattress wasn’t the most comfortable it was a most beautiful stay at Adventure Bay.

Can't fault anything!

One of our favorite accommodations in our month-long travels through Tasmania! We opted for one of their rooms instead of their glamping tents. Common spaces (kitchen, fire pits, garden, etc.) were beautifully designed so you can find a quiet spot to yourself or engage in conversations with people from around the world. We took advantage of the premade gourmet meals and honor bar (with complimentary pasta and rice provided). The communal bathhouse provides private shower stalls/changing rooms and hair dryers. We loved watching the wildlife wander through the grounds and the kookaburras up in the trees. If looking for a memorable travel experience - look no further!

What an amazing stay in adventure bay! The studio is so beautiful with great light coming through but still so private. Highlight was having breakfast with all the wallabies surrounding the studio, and all the different birds in the trees. A great escape - will definitely be back

Private, rustic but very comfortable, immersed in the natural environment with lots of wildlife to spot. All the mod cons you would need for an outdoor holiday on Bruny.

This was our second stay and we loved it just as much the second time. A lovely peaceful location, but very accessible. The cottage is very comfortable and even in summer we appreciated being able to have a fire at night.

This place is DREAMY! We had an amazing time in Bruny Island; gorgeous beaches and so many amazing walks around the place. You definitely need a car, and I would consider buying groceries before heading over as the shop is a tad expensive. The retreat is stunning and has literally everything you need. 10/10. Def recommend!

Nothing, it’s a great place for the family and would definitely stay again

The house is incredibly well equipped. We were there to run the Bruny Island Ultra and so while we didn’t spend much time at the property the time we did spend there was fantastic. There were board games for the kids, books, toys, a fully equipped kitchen and the best swing of all time. I don’t think our kids got off the swing for more than 5 mins to eat dinner. The rooms are comfortable and generous in size, The wildlife is almost tame and the property is basically a natural wetlands. It’s a wonderful Oasis on an already stunning natural island.

Hard to find a setting w the taps in the primary bathroom sink that accessed warm water

Adventure at the southern end of Bruny Island was a lovely idyll w ocean in the distance. Wallabies and Tassie hens ran round at dusk. Varied vegetation from the forest nearby and sounds of birds appeals to the senses
