The shower was separate to the room and was a short walk across the landing, the shower room itself was a little grubby needs some love.

Amazing character filled and historic building, incredible camera collection and replica classical paintings cover the walls to the high ceilings, wonderful location.

Surprised to have breakfast offered, but the menu was grander than the actuality.

Interesting and old-fashioned place with plenty of collectables in cabinets and on the walls. Well supplied tea and coffee area Port decanter was a special addition

The cold, and the wind!! (Although neither of these could be blamed on the Guest House.

Kath was a brilliant host. Very friendly and gave us ideas of where to go and what to see. She also cooked us a great breakfast and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. The location was perfect; we had caught a bus from Perth and our stay was about a 2 minute walk from the bus station. Highly recommended.

Food is not allowed on the bed. But it's not a big deal! We were informed of the rules on arrival, which helped ease matters.

Quirky apartment. Very friendly hosts who give you a lot of space and quiet. They also have a parking lot, which is convenient since the apartment is located in an area where parking is a little hard to find. The bed had a warmer that came in handy during the cold night. Breakfast was usual but good!

A very eclectic place with cabinets full of old cameras and all walls covered in excellent oil reproductions of historic 'old masters'. Probably not for everyone but I found a great place for an interesting stay.

Room and foyer a little tired and cluttered. 2 Flights of stairs to bedroom- however that was how it was !!

Some modernisation of the bathroom facilities would improve the appeal without compromising the charm.

We were treated very well by the host and the accommodation was as good as could be expected for a property of its style and age. Definitely recommend to the right travellers.

No a/c in our room and we had one very hot day. But ceiling ate 4,5m high. We were lucky, but possibly could be a noisy location on a Saturday night as close to the pub.

Kathy was very friendly and helpful. Lots of breakfast choice and very flexible timing. Very quirky accommodation, something different, in a good way.

Nothing it was good. Although The grounds are a bit dangerous, but thats the building and surrounds in itself. Its not a criticism on our part.

I like quirky, one can do modern anytime. Kathy was a delight. You could spend a week looking at all her keepsakes. High stairs so taking all our luggage up, was not necessary. Fantastic Thai close by. Great view and just a great spot. Was pleasure spending our money here. Unfortunately there was no availability for another night.
