A sliding screen door to balcony to keep insects out and breeze in would be a good idea. An additional internal lock on front door would be a good idea for piece of mind.

Alex Seaside was the perfect location for our family to base ourselves for our son’s Winterfest Soccer carnival. The views were magic, walking distance to restaurants and full kitchen and laundry for feeding growing boys and cleaning dirty soccer uniforms! It was beautiful to wake up and see the ocean from bed! We had plenty of space the unit was great size and clean. Looking forward to coming back next year!

I didn't like not having the access code for Wifi for a couple of days, but as soon as I raised it with staff it was promptly corrected. The TV access was a bit hit and miss at times, with trouble accessing Foxtel services.

The location and the view was spectacular. Waking up in the morning to the beautiful sunrise and light filling the lounge area was stunning. I really appreciated the decor and features that were calming and homey. The location across from the surf club and surfing beaches was a highlight, and plenty of nice coffee shops and food options around. Was a nice easy walk to Mooloolaba for bars and restaurants, or Maroochydore for the plaza.

Felt the couches were very uncomfortable for my short legs. The only thing I can say that was I didn’t enjoy sitting on them. But overall a fantastic apartment.

We had heavy rain one night which meant the balcony flooded, however, the biggest issue was the carpark has aircon units which leak onto the drive. Beware, as this is VERY slippery. I had a massive fall going down to the car with the bags on checkout. You really need to put something down over this.

Great location with the beach across the road. Fantastic eateries around, especially Milk and Beans! Parking was easy and secure. There's a neat park next to the hotel with a big pond which makes a nice morning or afternoon walk. Laundry services were handy and they had towels available for the beach if needed.

Secure parking was good to have except very tight spaces due to some built-in 'garage structures' impeded the ability to manoeuvre vehicles into the allocated spaces. Lots of evidence of car scrapes and dents against these retrofitted structures as well as the structural columns - A car owners or hire car companies nightmare!! Hand soap but no shampoo or body wash in a two bedroom apartment!?
