More than one washing machine would be nice because it takes a while and sometimes you have to wait quite a while until it is vacant.

It is a really nice hostel with an amazing garden and in walking distance to the city centre. The rooms are good and the kitchen is well equipped.

Wish I had been told about the bike's for rent when I first arrived as I had the whole day in Alice Springs.

Sense of community with gas canisters and food left for others to use. Lots of places at Alice's Secret to relax and enjoy. Great place to talk to others going and coming off Larapinta Trail.

Bed was a bit basic, bit fresh at night

Staff was nice, check in was easy. I liked the attention to detail, little boards or saying everywhere, book room, pool, lots of opportunities to chill outside.

This is a real gem - quirky rooms all super comfy, easy access to kitchen showers and laundry and a lovely internal garden area to sit by the pool, read and relax. I did two nights before and after Larapinta trekking and it was perfect for me. Don’t spends hundreds of dollars elsewhere when you can stay here and soak up the Alice atmosphere

One of the best hostels I have stayed in my life. I really loved the structure of their buildings that fosters interactions between backpackers. For example, the meal table is a round table and the kitchen is open. U can expect calm and chill communication there. (Of course u want to be friendly)

Despite the efforts of the owner the kitchen was a bit messy not too clean. Needs more follow up and cleaning by the owner.

The regular double was not the greatest room- did the job, but nothing fun or funky happening in that room. Betty Boop Bus way better! No access to a vending machine or bar or any snacks, so dont arrive late and empty handed ;)

The pool and garden area and Betty Boop bus were fantastic- quirky and charming and great places to hang out ! It was a good place to meet fellow travellers and dips in the pool were fabulous after a long day of touring about! Loved the age mix of guests- I'm 51 and felt very comfortable there :)

Alice’s secret is such a beautiful place in close waking distance to shops, bars, restaurants,… It has Unique accommodations and the social areas are very well looked after. It’s honestly been the best Hostel kitchen I’ve had at any hostel in Australia. Staff are super friendly, it feels like you’re staying with friends. The beautiful garden is just THE place to relax and unwind. I really loved the atmosphere and would’ve loved to spend some more time there.
