A little dark when coming in at night. Glad I checked in before dark as it would’ve been hard to find.

I can't fault this place, it is a retreat and it's very reasonably priced. We elected to walk along the rail trail into town for dinner at the Axedale Tavern, it was a 50mins walk that we really enjoyed on mostly flat track and only a 4min drive from the resort if you prefer to drive. There is also a national park to explore.

This is a fantastic place to go to disconnect. The hosts are responsive, kind and accommodating. The place is only 2 years old and very nicely designed. I appreciate the little touches, such a bookshelves filled with wellness books, the wallabies and just gorgeous backdrop and views. There is also a spacious communal kitchen and sitting area. The breakfast was basic continental but everything was fresh and local produce. I think this great for a romantic getaway or with a group!

Well I'm nitpicking, couple spiders daddy long legs no more than i have at home, and i think the dirt road might be problematic during any winter rains but it is a spa retreat lol, oh! and i got swooped by a magpie on my evening walk a great aussie tradition

beds very comfy, bathroom spacious clean and smelt nice, kitchen had everything i needed and the online payment seems to have worked perfectly

nothing to complain. But would have been easier just to leave a note somewhere about what to do, if someone shows up outside business hours

very quiet location, and there is a view to the neighbouring farms and some forest. Kangaroos hopping around. We had the place to ourselfes, being off season. Shame we only had one night. Could easily sit around outside, have tea and look at the landscape.

Lighting outside was poor, Disabled parking was occupied by a non disabled person which made it difficult to get the bags to the room. Probably could of supplied an umbrella as the kitchen was a little walk from the room to this facility & it was raining. Breakfast cereal was not in sealed container it was open in the box on the bench & unknow for how long!

Bed was exceptional Layout was bit tight but serviceable. Lovely to see the kangaroo's around the property. Breakfast was nice.

We are from Qld and as the reverse cycling AC was not turned on and when we got back at midnight the cabin was below freezing. Our mistake by not ensuring AC was on, but it's the only thing to complain about.

The unit was beautiful comfy and the setting was excellent, location if you use this facility as a retreat excellent. For us though it was a stopover, therefore a bit out of the way.

Outside steps need hand rails as steps are all of different heights, trip/fall hazards! Also welcoming is non existent! :-(

The Aligning Retreat forefilled nearly all my tick boxes for a relaxed "time out". A very relaxing place to watch tge sun set & rise :-) I liked, no enjoyed being left to my own resourece. The bed was fabo, the room was clean & the communittee was very relaxing for we independent people to eat what, when & what time. The spar was very good temp wise but need step stools for those who are not gymnasts (I was once LOL) that now need assistance getting into above ground spa that is a high as my underarms. I would definitely say that the Aligning Retreat is for independent, thinkers who just want to "Zen Out"!
