Didn’t take many photos, we having to nice a time relaxing 🤣 nothing we didn’t like it was all great!

Just beautiful!! We wanted a little relaxing getaway from Hobart and this was perfect! The lookout had everything we might have needed, we only stayed two night (not enough) didn’t really need anything but ended up using a few cooking things and found everything easily, making a most delicious gnocchi with mostly things found at the house just grabbed some pasta and garlic at the local IGA! The king bed was quite comfortable and we both have bad backs so this was an important thing for us and we come back! We found it so cozy with the electric fire places and the heater kept us warm! Stunning views, tho more properties are near by, you feel like your in a private getaway all to yourself to enjoy the beach views. We didn’t see little penguins but it was maybe a bit early or we just didn’t look well enough not wanting to disturb the wildlife.

Incredibly clean and bright comfortable little cottage. Lovely comfortable big bed with great linen. Lots of lovely touches like welcome pack of cheese crackers and milk , electric heater turned on before we arrived and really lovely toiletries. View of the ocean from the sitting room and a little picnic pack hanging up ready for our use was just another example of well thought of caring touches. No penguins at the time of our visit but we were visited each night by three possums and heaps and heaps of birds coming at all times of the day to drink and splash in the bird bath on the back patio

We were very impressed with The Lookout. It was absolutely gorgeous and so well appointed. It has everything we could need. The views from the bedroom area are fabulous and we loved waking up to the waves and sunrise.  The decor was amazing too and you have thought of everything

The trip was too short!

For me the highlights were... 1. The care and attention the host has put into the property. 2. The wonderful array of birds visiting the back garden. 3. The beautiful garden and access to the beach. 4. Best... being woken up at 4am by a little penguin outside my bedroom window, and then seeing him toddle off down the garden path to the sea. Cannot beat that for a memory! :-)

So many mozzies! We couldn’t find any inspect spray. We made such an effort to keep doors closed but we still killed so many of them and I still got eaten alive during the night.

The property was a little slice of heaven. The little touches with the picnic blanket, cheese and crackers, torch were great. Was such a comfortable home.

Location , just perfect , a well presented property, everything that we needed . The walk along coast from garden ideal , bird life amazing . This property is just superb throughout a credit to who ever looks after it .

There is nothing to fault about this house.

Overall the house was spotless. The house location was perfect being right next to the beach. The house amenities were clean and the kitchen had all the utensils and appliances you could need. The bedroom was decorated beautifully and provided a small reading nook and a walk-in wardrobe. The bedroom had unbelievable beach views.

Slightly earlier communication from the hosts would have been welcomed. We had headed towards Bicheno on the day of staying at the property having received no recognition of our coming arrival or information about the joining/arrival arrangements. In the end it was all fine and we received the instructions just before the allowable check-in time but at the time it felt a bit disconcerting not to have heard from them sooner than that.

Good sized rooms set out with a thoughtful and high quality finish. A private garden to relax in and easy access onto the adjacent shoreline. Situated on the edge of a quiet residential area. Lots of wildlife frequenting the back garden. Easy distance from the Freycinet Peninsular, a few decent vineyards, and national park walks to make it a good base for sightseeing along the East coast.

Location was beautiful, easy walk in to town but also very peaceful and quiet. Everything you needed was there and some really nice touches which I won’t list so I don’t spoil it for the next occupant. There was a great booklet that covered everything you needed to know about, a lot of effort had been put into this.Highly recommend.

Nothing that we didn't like very much except it's a quiet little town can't do much except to spy for penguins at night. Went to wineglass bay in one of the day's outing

Such a pleasant and comfortable stay for us! This is the only thoughtful place that provides a pair of kitchen scissors (why not the rest??) Connected with the Bluetooth speaker so we played music all the time in the house. Bedrooms and bathrooms have no locks, towel warmers in both toilets are helpful. There's a little spot for the penguins to bunk in at the driveway so check it out. Great laundry room to catch up on our washing. Wish we can stay longer (we stayed for 4 nights!). Everything is well thought of, we can comfortably prepare a proper dinner with enough pots and pans to choose from. Food at Food&Brew was great! We packed pizza and pulled pork back to eat so e can enjoy our little stay here more.

Beautiful beach house in a beautiful location, with breathtaking views. Well appointed and charming home. Very comfy beds! The master suite was spectacular. Metres from the ocean, coastal walks and shops. Our 4 nights here were so relaxing and I would definitely stay here again. Best private residence I have ever stayed in.

Was a bit difficult to work out how to use the combined washing machine / dryer.

The house & location were incredible. Every window had a stunning view. The house was very comfortable & would be lovely to have stayed longer than the 2 nights we were there. The penguins wandred into the yard & walked right up to the door one night. Very cozy house.

Beautiful house with ocean views. Very clean house. The house had everything that you would need. Washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, coffee machine and many kitchen appliances. This house was truly amazing, would highly recommend it to anyone.
