There are a few minor fit and finish things( carpet and door stop) that need a little attention. None of which affected my relaxation

Sorry to say, but the unit was not as clean as it should have been. Food spatters in the microwave and dirt in the fridge. Clogged drain in the bathroom vanity wasn’t great either. I am hoping those defaults have since been addressed.

The unit has fantastic views over the ocean.

We enjoyed our relaxing cosy Winter weekend at Aqualuna Apartments. There was plenty of space for 4 adults and we liked being so close to the beach.

The curtain rod brackets were loose which made us nervous in case the curtains were to fall down. There wasn't enough cutlery, only one teaspoon and one sharp bread knife. No bowls for fruit or salad. Extra chairs would have been helpful, we weren't able to bring grandkids for a meal due to lack of seating. Hinge on corner kitchen cupboard needs fixing. The hosts were a bit too enthusiastic with their reminders of dos and don'ts. First time I have had to provide a licence and number plate information with booking.com, I've travelled in many countries and hadn't been asked for this amount of security. I found it to be an invasion of my privacy and could potentially be used for identity fraud.

The location was wonderful and the views great. The decor was okay.

Location was peaceful and had a servo out front which had most things so was convenient. Would be nice if they made a kids games room with a vending machine for late night snacks when the servo closes. We had a 2bedroom unit number 68 with partial beach view which was lovely close to the pool for the kids the sunrise was beautiful.

No door on ensuite. Mattresses average. Missing some basic requirements like wooden spoon, dish cloth. Electric Frying pan didn't work. No smart TV. All in all, probably a tad overpriced.

Location. Host was very good. Parking was good. Nice balcony with partial sea views.

The bathroom has a 'window' that connects to the main room (no privacy). The place could have been cleaner.

There was no broom, mop, dustpan or brush or vacuum cleaner inside the unit, so we had no way of cleaning the floors if/when required. That should have been a basic inclusion. Cost of accommodation is expensive when you look at the per night cost.

Parking right at the front door, both rooms had an ensuite, good for family, visitor parking available.

This apartment was spacious, had great air conditioning, was situated in a great area and was clean and tidy.

The sofa bed was so low to the ground you may as well sit on the floor. Not ideal for a 71yrs old to sit and watch a bit of tv. Bit hard to sleep on. Would be ok for kids.

The views were nice and the bathroom with spa bath was good. Bedroom was comfortable.

Only downside was no proper lounge to sit on, it was a futon, great extra option for a sofa bed but wasn't ideal for a normal sitting lounge. The bathroom shutters don't really give much privacy from the bedroom but just something quirky I guess.

Lovely and modern, liked the separate bedroom downstairs and living area upstairs. STUNNING view of the ocean, just incredible, beautiful to sit on the verandah and watch the whales in the distance. Apartment location is perfect, lovely and quiet, pool is great too and wonderful to go for a walk on the beach, literally two min walk from apartment.

A tv with streaming function would be beneficial and the sofa bed / lounge was very uncomfortable to sit and sleep on.

Booking.com gave me wrong unit number. Fridge wasn’t on at arrival and I had groceries to put in. Second bedroom door locks when closed but just need to lift handle upwards to unlock

There is a permanent tenant next door who smokes on his balcony, which is very close quarters to this apartment's balcony. If you are allergic to cigarette smoke as I am, this apartment may not suit you. A shame, because the balcony is where the view is. Tenant also likes to stay up and play loud music with doors open, so again if you are in need of an early night as I was, or seeking a quiet evening, this apartment may not suit.

The location is beautiful, and the apartment has a gorgeous view of the ocean and solitary islands. The beach is close, and nice to walk on. Hardly any people. It did smell a bit seaweedy when I was there.

Hated the ridiculous lounge.. it was not a lounge it was a click bed on the floor also toilet was down stairs. It was a mixture of holiday let townhouses and permanent rentals so there was a dog next door which was left on its own barking on and off all day till owner got home we stayed in unit 42

The views..the tropical grounds... it was clean..easy check in even though the manager was not at the property keyless entry was good.

The lounge was a click clack lounge which i had no issue with, however it was on the floor and being heavily pregnant wanting to relax it wasn’t ideal so i sat at the table or went to lay in bed which wasn’t my kind of “holiday”

resort was beautiful, room was clean. it was beautiful location and view was lovely to sit and just watch and enjoy. The gardens well maintained and all units tidy
