The views, the sunrise, the animals, location to town. The fireplace on a freezing cold winters night, seeing the mist over the town in the morning. Just a fantastic weekend getaway!!

We were given 2 chalet far from each other and we were upset as we were 2 families with 8 of us but then later on after a few huddle and tussle they managed to give us close by and it was good then

The animal feeding every day was a highlight for our kids. The Guinea pigs are so cute!

The place was perfect

We wanted a peaceful few days away, and this place was exactly that . Great location with beautiful views . The cabin had everything needed for a comfortable stay . We had sunshine and showers over our stay, but the weather could not spoil this lovely spot. The log fire made it even more magical in the evening .

Our stay at Balingup heights was amazing! The cabin was very comfortable and cosy, we especially loved snuggling up by the wood fire and looking out at the spectacular view. The lookout was absolutely spectacular! Watching the sunrise over the misty hills was a highlight. The owners Deb and Brian were so friendly and accomodating, we felt very welcome. We can’t recommend Balingup heights enough and we will definitely be back!

The .location is superb. The cottage I rented was situated on the edge of a very high hill with views over magical farm land and forest for around 230 degrees. I was joined by friendly sheep and horses who allowed me to sit at the lookout and simply gaze in wonder. A short walk away was my cosy cottage with its wood fire and warm bed and all mod cons.

I don't have any strong dislikes but if I had to choose one it would be there was no access to a laundry and Balingup town didn't have one either, however, the caravan park is open to outsiders using their facilities. But don't let this deter you, I had a memorable, rejuvenating time and will be back at some point for sure!

Loved the little cabin, 'misty view' overlooking a deep, rolling green valley.All you needed for a comfy, stress free stay was provided. Large, clean windows in lounge and kitchen allowed for a feeling of connection to the spectacular nature outside which, on one morning included a blanket of dense, white fog. Hosts, Deb and Brian were extremely friendly and welcoming...as was the little black dog (name forgotten) who trotted down to my cabin to say hi and wish me a lovely stay.
