We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomI would sum this up as an experience. Room had everything it needed and was clearly loved, but was quite outdated. Food in the restaurant was okay. Not much accommodation available in Katherine so this was doable despite being a little too 'off-piste' for us.

Fantastic friendly owners. On-site restaurant in a wonderfully quirky environment. I didn't feel well & wasn't hungry, but Chris quickly made me a mango crumble - super yummy. Kids will LOVE it, animals all over the place - Charlie the python, goats, pigs, chickens. A real fun stay.

AustraliaThe only thing I didnt like was I only booked for one night, and wished I booked for two..
This place was an absolute delight. I took my 9 year old grand daughter and we stayed for one night, both of us really wished we stayed for two. Feeding the animals was so much fun and such a great experience for her being a "city dweller". The free range animals were great and the bunnies, so many bunnies. And of course there were butterflies. not hundreds of them but it was nice to see some butterflies. Our cabin, was Alice in Wonderland themed and was very comfy. Loved that the towels were arranged like a butterfly. Chris the host is so lovely - even after a day it felt like we were leaving a long time friend.

AustraliaWe missed a toaster. Providing only a fridge makes any self catering very difficult. Cleanliness in the bathroom was not up to scratch-- shower screen and basin needed a good scrub. The constant quite loud music (not to my taste) emanating from the dining area became irritating. Could Chris wear something on his feet when waiting on tables?
The availability of the restaurant was very helpful (with a great curry) as there was no where else to eat or buy food. The pool was also potentially a bonus but we did not use it.

I understand it’s no longer focusing on butterflies and more animal (goats, bunnies, pigs etc) petting experiences, which is good as the butterfly enclosure was sad and bereft of butterflies! 🦋 Poor crocodile Zeus was limited to pretty small enclosure 😔
