My daughter and I stayed in Room 4. Found Staff to be super helpful and friendly, even took my Sunday pm call when I couldn't get the heating to work (Thank You). Rooms are quite 'basic' but good value for money.

The a/c struggled a little to heat the room with all the windows but the curtains help to keep the heat in. We didn't have any other issues worth noting

My 3rd time staying here as we love this Manor. This time we managed to secure Room 5 with the magnificent views of the Derwent with wrap around windows of the corner of the room! The room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed and pillows and the location is quiet and within walking distance of Hampden Rd and Salamanca. Would definitely stay again!

Short walk to everything! Especially Salamanca Markets. The pub down the road was amazing, as was all the old heritage spotted around, including the Battery Point Manor. Perfect for a couple of nights if you are wanting to experience central Hobart without being SMACK bang in the middle.

The taps are old school type with one hot and one cold taps which we are not used to using. The door knobs are the same.

Location was good and quiet, nestled in the residential neighborhood. Room was spacious and clean. Sufficient heat to keep the room warm at night.

Had asked about leaving luggage on checkout which had been agreed in advance but unable to find any staff at checkout time. Managed to sort through messaging but felt it could have been dealt with better. Small complaint which didn't affect our departure as we had a late flight but would have been nice to have face to face contact.

Facilities were fine as was location. Great location within 15 minute walk of harbour and Hobart city. Spacious room with very comfortable king size bed.

This hotel was really close to Salamanca market. It was very convenient for us. The water pressure in the shower was beyond amazing. The service from staff was excellent. We really had a good time.

We had to keep the curtains drawn to ensure we had privacy and we also didn't have a view. The carpet/rug near the doorway is fraying on the edges and should be replaced as I tripped on the long piece of thread. The upstairs rooms on the downhill side of the building have lovely views so i would choose to stay upstairs again next time.

We have stayed here 3 times previously and love it for the location and it also represents great value for money. This time we stayed in room 8 on the lower level. The bathroom was newer and better than the upstairs rooms as it had a walk in shower rather than over the bath. It also had a bigger fridge which would be handy if you were staying longer. We also had the option of parking the car in front of the room although it made driveway access to the other lower level rooms quite tight and as we didn't want to get the hire car damaged we decided it was safer to park it on the upper level. The room was spacious, beds were comfy but unfortunately there is no view.

We stayed in a triple room 9 downstairs. Large size and newly renovated, just lovely. Room had mini fridge, kettle, microwave, cutlery, and crockery. Lots of parking available, within walking distance to Salamanca Markets, but we are lazy and used Ubers, $10 one way and never waited longer than 5 minutes for one, well worth it.
