The bed was a little uncomfortable.

The unit was quite large and open with a nicely designed interior, which was nice and clean. Very close to the beach, park area, local pub and a lovely little Italian restaurant, all just a stones throw away. Would definitely recommend this property.

A sharp kitchen knife would be a helpful addition to the kitchen.

Lovely accommodation, nicely decorated in a great location. 4 mile beach right just a short walk away. Plunge pool was great!

The private villa feel was 😊 nice

I liked the property as it was not in the Main Street felt secluded even though it wasn’t the only thing I would have done was make the plunge pool about two degrees warmer ! It backed onto a beach park with gate access and was opposite the Reef Tavern which was under renovation so wasn’t serving food but was still open for drinks!

We found the heated plunge pool a little cold for our liking - but I’m sure there would be plenty of people who would love the cooler temperature in the hot climate.

It was private and due to the solid concrete construction it was cool. Big thank you to Graham for all his help with making sure we were well taken care of.

A door on the toilet would be good as sound travels, the lounge only has one comfortable spot to sit, the bbq seems dangerous and probably needs replacing . The kitchen should be better stocked, a sharp knife, champagne glasses, more than three plates and replace the four aged cups. Also a hair dryer would be appreciated. The pipe on the outside of the bedroom wall needs to be blocked in as it’s incredibly noisy when upstairs shower, it was loud enough to wake us at 12.30am and we thought a water pipe burst somewhere.

I like the layout of the unit and the location.

Painted sinks and tiles in shower, extension lead into the lounge room to run pool looks like electrical fires have previously happened etc lots of dust building up in the main room on the picture front above the bed head and under bed and clothes racking etc, lounge wasn’t comfortable, wifi didn’t work the last 2 days seemed to be ppl connecting to ours through the stay and slowing the tv while watching movies, louvers some didn’t open and some were broken and some were completely missing and haven’t been replaced etc..

The beach feel and how open the unit was

The mattress is extremely soft and badly needs an upgrade; no hairdryer; noisy in the morning; hard to cook in the kitchen (a small kitchenette, but there is a bbq); the shower has a leak; table chairs are very uncomfortable

Very spacious, 1 minute away from the beach, little heated pool (for two people); plenty of mineral water on arrival

The lock on the door wasn’t working properly, we eventually fixed it and we’re able to leave, but until it was fixed, we weren’t comfortable leaving the room unlocked with our belongings in it. The laundry facilities appeared to be used as storage for old appliances. It didn’t affect the unit in anyway, however just took away from the “luxury” of staying somewhere else for some time away.

The plunge pool was absolutely lovely. The unit was clean, and tidy and the amenities provided were great. It was very close to the beach, which was convenient.

No oven, only one hot plate so hard to cook a meal without taking double the time. Spa was cool and couldn’t find any heating systems to heat it up, pump & filter wasn’t on not. Maybe some instructions would be good to be left by the spa or something. Bedding did have wee little mold spots on the sheets, (tropics yes mouldy, expected but bedding preferably not)..no Doona, blanket was available but for those climatized a doona is much more nicer then the sheet & blanket. New four mile beach shack is beautiful, same owners as sassi in town. Broom, baby bath ect in laundry could do with an update as broom wasn’t able to be used.

Only ended up staying 1 night but Great property location close to beach, next to four mile tavern ect. Perfect for couples or singles.

The advertized heated pools is not hot at all. Water might have to be changed. kitchen facilities is inadequate. Washbasin is old. Not enough plates. Management should check and replenish.

The location, close to the beach, quiet. The place is very spacious. Bed is comfortable. It is clean, but outside, due to air-conditioner above, always wet and slippery. TV with Netflix etc. Entertaining.

Nothing not to like, simple is best!

    - The proximity to the beach is a great bonus (while swimming is not advised there for obvious reasons, it is nice for a stroll) - Layout of the property and decoration is reminiscent of a Balinese resort - Chill out pool is beneficial just to unwind from doing the "touristy" things during the day - ex-pat Kiwi run Cafe (Kai) across the road - Property owner/manager provides clear and concise information about the property and responds to enquiries in a timely (if not immediate) manner. - Deceptively spacious accommodation

Unfortunately the plunge pool wasn’t heated so I didn’t use it although Phil the owner said he would reset it when I left. He was very quick to come when the water was turned off albeit we discovered by the local council workers without advising anyone.

The apartment was located at the opposite end of Four Mile Beach to town with direct park & beach access and an easy 4.5km walk into town along the beach. It was completely enclosed with louvres for ventilation so I felt very secure as I was on my own most of the time. The bed was very comfy with lovely linen and a relaxed lounge area with all TV Chanels plus Netflix etc I would definitely stay here again.
