A lovely quiet location on the edge of Lake Sambell. It was a pleasant walk around the lake to have dinner. Spectacular sunset reflections in the lake:) We could have stayed another night in Beechworth as there was lots to see and do around town.

Double bed is a little bit of a tight squeeze for two tall adults and shower also bit tight if you’re tall but that’s true of most of holiday park facilities. The floor doesn’t get warm even with heating on in winter so bring your uggs!

Couldn’t really have asked for more from this property! Cabin was spotless (much cleaner than we have experienced in some 5 star hotels!) and the staff were so warm and helpful - they even posted us something we left behind which was so helpful. Some of our family had kids with them and the playground, mini golf course and other sports equipment was a big hit. We had our lovely dog with us and the property was very dog friendly, though please note you are not able to leave your dog in a cabin unattended at any time.

Beds weren’t very comfy, we had ants in our cabin kitchen and the handle came off the bathroom door but we were only there 3 nights so didn’t worry us as we were out and busy. Would be great if there was a shuttle into town, there are no taxis or Ubers and it’s a bit far too walk with kids and oldies

Great location, friendly staff, cabin had everything we wanted/ needed. Loved the walk around the lake, having a fire pit and the kids loved the playground.

Glad we brought our slow cooker as it provided another cooking option. Couldn’t find scissors! But really - minor things that did not impact our stay at all. Just things to be aware of.

Well-appointed, warm, such a comfy bed and everyone sleep well. Great Lake views and walk. Lots of things for children to do. We used our cabin as a base to explore Beechworth and Mount Buffalo this time around. Would definitely stay again.
