AustraliaLots of traffic noise during the day. There also may be a possum or some wildlife making quite a bit of noise at night. Obviously, this is not something that can be avoided, but I thought I would mention it as it did give us a bit of a fright in the middle of the night.
Nice and spacious. Had a homey feel that made our stay comfortable.

Australia- Expired milk (from July 2022) in the fridge - Multiple dead ants on the pillow and bed on the right side of the king-size bed (These two issues have been communicated to Thorpe Realty, we asked for no action as we had dealt with it. However, the ants appeared again on the second night. We suspect pest control had been performed recently as there were dead ants scattered around the place, and may be falling from the ceiling gap above the bed) - The outside hose would not switch off after initial use at around 9am. We reported this to Thorpe Realty who said they would send a plumber. We returned at 4pm and the hose was still in the same position with water still pouring out of it. I called again and the plumbers arrived within 30 minutes, and a new tap was installed within 10 minutes. While this did not affect us at all, I'm horrified by the amount of water wasted and also the length of time it took for the issue to be addressed. Now the relatively minor issues: - the house is next to the main street so it can be quite noisy, especially when the trucks go by - the exhaust fan in the bathroom switches on but doesn't seem to work as the mirror is still wet an hour after a shower - can be cleaner, even without the ants there was dust and sand on the ground and cobwebs in the corner - the water tastes funny, not sure if this is due to town water treatment as there seems to be a film over our tea; we purchased bottled water from Woolies and this mitigated the problem - be aware that the house is on the corner of Brazier and Dempster St; as all the houses were similar it took us a while to locate it and you need to walk straight up to the front door to see the unit number We really wanted to like this accommodation, particularly as we stayed for 3 nights, however, these issues dampened our experience. I gave it a 6 as I am hoping this is a one-off and improvements will be made.

AustraliaJust not modern, no wifi and poor reception in the house. TV not a smart TV and reception was in and out for ABC Kids. Compared to other places I've stayed in Esperance for the same price this one just is not towards the top having kids to entertain I.e no park across the road or playground. Had to work whilst we were there so required to hot spot off my phone with poor reception for the laptop to connect to the internet.
Location to the jetty is good. Big area in the house and nice back yard.

AustraliaOn the 2nd day of our stay someone had entered property with a key. We contacted agent and they didn't come past so we think someone has cut a key so do not leave your personal items here. Take anything valuable with you. It was not a very nice feeling and we didn't sleep the following night worried someone would enter again.
Great spot and on day 1 we loved the place.
