Room: it was out-of-date the 70's. The bathrooms were too old and needed updating. Breakfast: The toasters were also too old and needed updating, they would keep breaking down. Also only having one coffee machine, where we had to go upstairs to get the morning coffee. The food was excellent. Spa: One of our party used the spa and commented on how great it was.

Rooms were compact but a bit too much...toilets at top floor too small to be used.

Perfect location, spa, great service, before the stay and during. Few added values that made a difference, free shuttle from car park, discounted lift passes, restaurant and drinks.

Ski locker was too small to fit a snowboard. Spa was lovely, but some guests were very loud. Some steep steps when carrying skis each day after skiing.

Staff were lovely and so helpful. Spa downstairs was great. Comfy bed. Good location for skiing.

1) food was very disappointing and of a poor standard when ordered via the Loft bar. Wish it was better considering the price and how hard it is to get around in the evening snow with babies/toddlers. 2) bottle water not included on check in 3) a lot areas of staff not manned when wanting assistance to order etc 4) restaurant closed during our stay as “not busy” 5) wish they included maps of the MT Buller via the hotel.

Staff. We were overcharged for lift passes despite very clearly stating that my father was a senior over 65 yrs and she said she will check the Buller website to check pricing and it was still cheaper to purchase from them and not mt Buller. Brought to staffs attention at check out and nothing was done or compensated and just said they are flat rate and they fluctuate across weekends (not applicable because our stay was Monday and Tuesday). Also would have booked spa packages and utilised these facilities had I felt comfortable approaching staff.

If I had to find something out of the many positives.. Upon check in, all of our credit cards weren’t reading due to the eftpos machine being down? One day our cups weren’t washed. A lot of loud children, so not as romantic for couples as I’d hoped.

Unfortunately our dinner at the restaurant had a table of very noisy children nearby. Staff tried to be accommodating but it was detracted from our night. Our room wasn’t made up on the first day. Towels were taken and not replaced.

Picked up from our bus at arrival, happy hour, complimentary breakfast, the day spa, and the staff, especially Aisling and Miranda.
