The fry pan needs replacing - difficult to cook with.

The location was incredible - amazing views, quiet except for the birds, a comfortable tree house. I have not slept so well and felt so relaxed in a long time.

A bit of a mix up with the cottage not being cleaned or restocked with firewood before our arrival, but the owner and staff were very helpful in resolving once brought to their attention.

It was fantastic. Exactly what i was looking for. Only negative was a kookaburra ate my bacon off the BBQ. Fair play to him for his ambition and daring swoop.

Fantastic place to stay and get away from everything. Simple but everything you needed in the cabin with a great view and private location. Short drive to the shops but nestled up in the tree tops with the ocean view and nature close by it was everything i wanted.

There is very limited parking at the cottages, and one road in and out which made it a little bit tricky, but otherwise was fine

The cottage is not flash but it has everything you need and is very comfortable. The view is fantastic and I really enjoyed looking out especially from the bath.

Some basics in the kitchen/fridge (milk/coffee etc) would have been helpful since we got in late and the location is a drive from the shops (which were closed when we arrived). Also the DVD player didn’t work. No mobile reception.

Was there anything not to like? It was so perfect!

It was such a gem! It was so beautiful, thoughtfully laid out, the views were breathtaking, the ammenities were so good. The fact they even had a bbq & everything you could need in a kitchen was the best, the fire place, the placement of the windows, even the windows that were high up & weren’t covered was the perfect addition for us, waking up to the sunrise/sunlight so we didn’t waste hours in bed. Everything was so beautiful!

Absolutely amazing! Location is so secluded and peaceful. The cottage has everything you need for an escape from the daily grind of life. Pure relaxation.. Definitely visiting again.

We recently stayed at this lovely cottage (Redgum), and it was the perfect escape! Set on top of the hills, the breathtaking ocean view was the absolute highlight. Waking up to that view every morning was incredible and made our stay so relaxing. The house itself isn't fancy, but it was clean and had everything we needed. The barbecue area and the chimney for a fire in the evenings really added to the experience, making it feel cosy and homely. If you're after a peaceful spot with amazing views and great value, this is the place. Highly recommend!

The view, the beautiful comforting cottage. The cleanliness of it wasn’t great, but honestly who cares when you’re enjoying the beautiful view, in the bush’s, in nature. It was the perfect most relaxing weekend. I would definitely rather something like that, to feel cosy and home.

Nothing at all

The property was a gorgeous little gem perched up high with incredible views. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The fire place was what really made our winter weekend escape amazing. The property had everything we needed. The spa was amazing and the bbq was a great addition.

Owner had electrician come twice over our 2 night stay which was fine we understand things happen however did hinder the relaxation in terms of on check in I was planning to arrive and have a bath but then couldn't had to wait and it felt a bit awkward as its such a small space to have an additional person. Then the second time it felt like we should leave the place whilst he was there. In a place like that you dont want to leave you want to relax there and you just don't relax as much when there are things going on. Especially as we only had 2 nights there you want to get there and switch off the entire time and make the most of it. I felt the owner could have offered some compensation for that like a late check out or early check in or something but nothing was offered. Bathroom has a bit of mould around windows and had hair on the tap when we arrived. Outdoor furniture is very worn from weather and not in great condition which made us sit out there less.

No internet ( no picked up till booked) furnishings a bit dated. There are no sheets in the second bedroom. We sleep in separately.

Beautiful house. Spotless clean. It has everything you might need. There is plenty of wood for the fireplace that will keep the house warm during cold weather. There are shops a short drive from the house. And lots of cute kangaroos on the road!
