We had a couple of difficulties with the drop down tv but managed in the end. We were a little chilly through the first night, a spare blanket would be handy.

The chalet had a lovely ambience, loved the double doors onto the perfectly situated balcony and the hot tub was amazing on the deck.

The cabin is spacious and charming, with a well-equipped kitchen and a veranda facing the wonderful view, including barbecue facilities. Breakfast is tasty and satisfying. The crown jewel is the tour to the waterfall, in off-road vehicles driven by the staff, who also provided fascinating information about the area, the plants, and the wildlife. Swimming in the pool beneath the waterfall, surrounded by magnificent nature, is refreshing and delightful. The location is excellent and very convenient for rainforest trips.

We would have liked information and expectations to have been a bit clearer, although all was sorted out through personal contacts.

Loved the facilities, the view, the spa, the quiet, the breakfast. Loved the fun trip out to the Cassowary Falls, the information imparted, the birds, the swimming and the excellent sense of catering for the specific group.

The only issue I had was accessibility to some areas due to my mobility problems. I’d say when areas are all finished it will be suitable.

The peace and quiet and the beautiful views. Such a relaxing end to our NQ holiday.

Having to leave when our stay was over

Everything! All of our expectations were amazingly exceeded. The location was amazing, there has been so much thought and planning go into every detail of the luxury chalets and the hospitality of the Garritty family and their staff was exceptional. Can not recommend this enough. The cassowary falls tour is also highly recommended with Bruce being a phenomenal guide with such a broad range of knowledge. He’s also a great karaoke star. Oh and Bear was such a sweet goodest boy!

N/A - our stay was perfection

The warm and generous hospitality, our clean well-equipped chalet (the details and little touches were lovely), the ATV tour to the falls and the gorgeous falls themselves, the owners' cute dogs on the property, delicious breakfast, the infinity pool - the absolute peace and tranquility amongst nature.

    Not staying longer!

Breathtaking private, picturesque, and romantic location. Well designed accommodation with the most comfortable bed, amazing rainfall shower heads, lots of places to relax and sit on the balcony, and in the entryway, as well as the spa. It has everything you need for a self-contained stay. Infinity pool and the view were amazing. The waterfall walk was another highlight, it's stunning. As were the gorgeous Shepherds, Bear, and new little pup Ralphie. The hosts and farm and tour workers were lovely.

Fantastic location, excellent facilities, great hosts. Really made our visit to the upper Daintree and surrounds quite special. The rainforest vegetation and wildlife (birds, turtles and fish) at the falls make this property extra special and a gateway to the region. Spa pool after a swim at the falls or day on the reef was awesome.

A stunning location with a view I could look at all day. The host was friendly and welcoming and took me to the fabulous waterfall for a swim. While they are still recovering after the devastation of cyclone Jasper, the accomodation was very comfortable with everything you could need from a self contained chalet. The hot tub was a great way to relax in the evenings.

We had a really lovely chalet, which was well equipped and the hot tub was perfect. The walk to the waterfall that goes from the farm was the best part. It rained a lot so was quite mucky, but the waterfall was really impressive.

A true piece of heaven in the rainforest of QSL with your very own waterfall to trek to and swim in... gorgeous spa outside the chalet to relax in and 5 star amenities and equipment!! Liz and Andy are wonderful hosts. Liz cooked us an amazing breakfast, and Andy treated us to an adventurous ride in his ATV to cassowary falls. Bear the German Shepard is friendly! The infinity swimming pool is a marvel 👌 Its by far the best way to experience the beauty of QLD mystic forest.

Incredible location. Very thoughtfully put together. Amazing hot tub, view, and breakfast. The mushrooms are a must! And the tour down to the waterfall is brilliant - as we were guests of the property Andy let us walk back ourselves (it’s about 20-30 minutes) and spend as long as we wanted by the waterfall after the tour departed. Magical.

The beds, awesome bed but had a split down the middle which opened up.

The breakfast was great especially the mushrooms. The location was superb, close enough to explore but also secluded enough to just chill out and enjoy each other's company.
