The noise of the construction, just enquire when booking if it has been completed?

We stayed here primarily due to wanting to play golf. We played on three courses in Hunter Valley including the one here "The Vintage" and it was definitely the best of all!! Stunning course. The Golf Villa was very comfortable, a little tired perhaps, needs a nice reno to put it up there with 5 star levels. Unfortunately during our stay there was construction of I would guess a new housing development going on during Monday to Friday which you could easily hear which was quite annoying, but thankfully they didn't work on the weekend. I would still stay there again as the golfing facilities were wonderful and there is a very nice bistro right across the road called NINETEEN which we went to all the time - excellent value and atmosphere!

It would have been difficult if l had been on the first floor having to use the stairs due to an injury. I don't recall that being stated on the website when l booked. The configuration of the bed was 2 singles pushed together, which makes sense for varied bookings, but it did make the bed for a single traveller not as comfortable as it could have been. Although it didn't take away from the overall experience. Although there was room service, the options were limited

The grounds were lovely & a beautiful area. The one bedroom villa was on the ground floor with views over the golf course, which was a nice outlook. The villa was a great size & well-appointed. Very comfortable & the kitchenette was very handy. I would have liked to stay another night, but unfortunately, it was already booked. The facility's where very good, golf course, gym, spa & dining options.

Bed was a little firm for my comfort.

Room size was excellent for a stay of 3 nights. Bathroom was huge. Loved waking up to hundreds of kangaroos.

We booked a taxi from Taxico to take us to a wedding and it never showed. Almost missed the ceremony

Just one little problem, our apartment needs new lounge.

Staff and location were wonderful. We always enjoy our stay at the Chateau with super comfy bed, love the fireplace, kitchen and washer , spa is just the right size. Lots of thought has gone into ensuring the guests have everything. We went to the Legends restaurant for my hubby’s birthday with wonderful service from Michael and Biljana and complements to the chef who treated us to delicious food. Thankyou so much for a great stay 😁

We wanted to use the spa and I feel they are not upfront about the fact this needs to be booked and paid for in advance. We arrived wanting to use the spa and was told not only was it $60 extra each but there were no spaces for us because others had all booked ahead of time. This was a disappointment especially as so much is made of the spa - it was one of the reasons we booked. Our lunch in clubhouse was also pretty disappointing - so some work on the quality of food available there would be good.

We loved the space and the villa. Really spacious and super comfortable bed. Large bath was a treat too. All the staff were super helpful and responsive too.

No room service or place to have dinner onsite on Wednesday- available from Thursday only.

Room was spacious and clean great view, very comfortable bed and a fantastic high water pressure shower. Bathroom was very spacious with lots of room to put toiletries. View of kangaroos from the terrace was a bonus! Also had a great breakfast

Dishwasher didn’t work. But housekeeping came and tried to help. We didn’t have to wash up! Construction noise nearby mid morning.

Lovely fireplace, comfy bed, kitchen and coffee machine. Spacious and very good value. Nice views from balcony including a number of kangaroos. Close to pub and restaurants.

It is quite difficult to go out without a car, as getting an Uber can take 30 to 40 minutes. This makes it complicated to move around, especially if you want to visit nearby vineyards or go wine tasting without driving. Regarding breakfast, which is quite expensive, it only includes machine coffee, and you have to pay extra if you want a freshly made one. For the price, the breakfast could definitely be much better

The place is very spacious, with beautiful gardens to enjoy. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay

The room itself is starting to look a little tired. Particularly the bathroom

I'd like to call out the team in the Legends restaurant. We had a fantastic meal there and were beautifully looked after by the wait and wine staff.
