Everything was exceptional.

Sam & Lisa’s home is new, stylish, has an abundance of space for big families or friends traveling together, including a large, safe, fully enclosed yard for your dog to stretch their legs. Our service dog in-training could be fully supervised outside through the soaring windows surrounding the main living area. The home is perfectly located behind the main street, beautifully quiet while being walking distance to every restaurant, cafe & general store the town has to offer. You can even start your Venus Baths & The Pinnacle hikes right from the doorstep. If you have an EV or Plug-in-hybrid, the hosts have conveniently installed a 15AMP wall socket to recharge your car. Perfect location as you could walk to shops and restaurants. House was very well equipped, hosts were excellent. The only reason I haven’t given it a 10/10 was that the dishwasher wasn’t emptied when we arrived. Everything else was top notch.

A very nice home.I slept in the single bed and I think mattress needs to be replaced. I organised for 8 people and everyone else's beds were fine.

Spacious. Kangaroo sightings. Close to town. Great beds. The entry lounge area — perfect for kids to hang out. Well supplied kitchen. Nearby creek.

Cheeky Emu is a well set out house and in a great location easy walking distance to town. The owners have thought about almost everything you might need.

The holes in the fly screens. Leaking tap in the ensuite and the shower screen that wasn’t long enough to keep the floor dry. Some extra towels would have helped? Dead flys on the window sills when we arrived. Not enough large pots to cook for eight in (we were cooking pasta).

The layout of the bedrooms and pool table were great as was the location. Lisa and Sam were great to deal with when we had an issue.

lots of space and very clean and comfortable. perfect for a family group. The house was very close to all amenities, only a very short walk to restaurants and shops.

There were a couple of minor issues with the property, however the hosts were very responsive and apologetic for the inconvenience.

Conflicting information regarding pets. Check with owners when booking. Our pooch was allowed in. Rubbish and animal waste is a problem, make sure bins are secure otherwise you’ll be picking it up the next morning. Unfortunately for us that’s what we had to do on arrival. Master bedroom has ensuite which means the other bathroom has to service up to eight people. But all things considered we would still recommend this property.

Nice large accommodation ideally situated in Halls Gap. We were a party of seven and everyone felt that the house was very spacious. Pool table and games included. Well equipped kitchen.

Main lounge suite needs to be replaced as cushions are sagging which is not good for peoples backs especially older people. BBQ was unusable in my opinion as controls where very greasy and hot plate showed signs of rust which l wasn't prepared to clean off. Also in main bedroom it appeared that the two towels from the previous people where still hanging on the towel rack, a bit damp. Fresh towels where on the bed.

Location of property was excellent, just 5 min walk to shops. Beds very comfortable.

The property was not clean, broken glass left in the pantry, hair and pink mould in shower, and very dusty. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned from the last guests.

It was a modern, nice home in a great location.
