Being on Coffs' main CBD intersection there was traffic noise, but not as bad as expected. The electrical connection to and of the single amazing "table lamp" was almost comical. BUT mainly the beeping smoke or fire alarm (hard to pinpoint but which seemed to be throughout the building) at about 3.00am (twice) really interfered with sleep.

The one shower in the women's bathroom did not work. I tried a shower in the unisex bathroom, and the shower head shot 10 streams of water in different directions, and it was impossible to actually wash in it. The 3rd and final shower left to try did work. Maybe I was unlucky with my room location, but the DJ from the pub downstairs was so loud that my room shook. Earplugs, white noise through earphones, and smothering my head with a pillow could not drown out the thumping from the bass, which went on until 2am.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was pretty comfortable. Location is central and the room was cheap.

As advertised, no air con in the rooms & it was very humid - but lucky we had 2 fans & a window that opened. The fridge in the lounge was rusted & iced up - definitely needs an upgrade. The entire accommodation upstairs needs upgrading to be on par with the amazing facilities.

Staff were informative, helpful, friendly & just wonderful. Even the bottle-o staff were amazing. The bistro, bar & pool room were immaculate, modern & air conditioned beautifully. Monday night special of 2 meals for $25 was a bargain!

The bathroom/shower areas weren’t great there was no cold water in one of the showers and the drain didn’t work very well. The linen on the bed had marks/stains on it.

The room was very basic, my bed had a tilt to it which made it a bit uncomfortable, the windows couldn’t open so the room was a bit stuffy. The communal shower didn’t seem to go very hot.

Staff were very friendly, the room was basic but that’s what you paid for. Tea and coffee was provided in the room. Easy check in and check out. Good for a quick stop over.

The sink in the room old and cringy. I wasnt sure if i felt safe to even brush my teeth in it. The room had one powerpoint and th fan was plugged into which left no room to plug in a phone. The lights in the hall ways arent on during day but are well lit up at night. Unisex toilets and showers.

I thought the locks on the door was awesome.
