Carpet in one of the rooms was fraying at the doorway. No beach towels included in your stay (they are an additional $5 each). Smoking was allowed on patios and you could smell it when you were in the pool.

The location was amazing with the beach right on the doorstep. Pool was beautiful and it was great that they had communal pool toys. The units were modern, bright, had all we needed for our stay. Staff were helpful. Very comfortable.

This was our second visit to this property. Our previous visit was 20 years prior. The bed was sooo uncomfortable and very low to the ground felt like i was on a camp bed. The room was patched up with silicone everywhere. They really need the bathrooms updated.

Sometimes the appliances do not work, the water in the pool is very, very cold, the beds are way too firm and unfortunately the apartment was broken into when we were asleep and cash from my wallet was stolen. We were on the third floor and had a small window open which they entered into, we were one of three apartments that were broken into. There are notices saying to close all windows and doors but we didn't think anyone would be able to climb up to the third story, but they did. Lesson learnt. Did not have this issue last year.

The access to many restaurants within walking distance. The views are beautiful and so is the property.

The location of Coral Sands is excellent—peaceful, with easy access to the beach and a good selection of nearby restaurants. The area is not too busy, making it a great choice for those looking for a quiet and relaxing stay. The property grounds are immaculate and both the pool and BBQ area are very well maintained. The apartments themselves are pleasant and offer some useful amenities such as hairdryers, a microwave, oven, TV, kitchen utensils and crockery. However, the overall facilities are quite basic. Only one bath towel per person and one bathmat were provided, with no hand towels or washcloths in either bathroom. The kitchen had just one dish towel of poor quality and no kitchen paper, which was inconvenient for a weekend stay. While this may not be an issue for longer visits (where guests might bring or buy their own supplies), it felt insufficient for a short trip. There were also some cleanliness issues. Despite guidance asking guests to keep the apartment clean, there were no cleaning supplies aside from some dish soap. On arrival, we found a large clump of hair hanging inside one of the wardrobes and the floors felt gritty, suggesting the apartment had not been cleaned thoroughly. As we checked in late, we were unable to report this to staff at the time. That said, the peaceful location and beautiful surroundings really made it a relaxing stay. With a few small improvements, this could be a truly great place for a beachside getaway.

In self-contained accommodation you will generally get some non perishable basics left in the pantry from previous guests that you can be very helpful when preparing your own meals like foil, glad-wrap, grease proof paper, oil, herbs and spices etc. This is not the case at the property, suggesting there is a site policy around this so ensure you get this things beforehand.

Directly opposite beach, 1min from the property front gate and you are in the water! The property also has a shower at this gate to rinse off after the beach - very handy! Also as we stayed 10-days, the property provided a mid point 're-fresh' of towels and linen - very few places do this.

We really enjoyed our stay at Coral Sands. The resort has a fantastic location, just steps from the beautiful beach. Although there aren’t a huge number of restaurants and cafes in Trinity Beach, the few that are here are all within easy walking distance. The common areas, including the garden and pool area, are very attractive and well maintained. The apartments are all privately owned and managed by Coral Sands, so the interiors may vary from unit to unit. Our apartment was clean and tidy, with comfortable beds. While it wasn’t super modern, it was well-kept and provided everything we needed for a relaxed stay. The kitchen was adequately equipped for simple meals, although some items, like the frying pans, were a bit worn and could be replaced. Overall, a great spot for a beach holiday—would definitely recommend!

Not much, a secure location for luggage to be stored after a 10am check-out for an afternoon flight would be a simple but handy addition but that's about it.

Top beachfront location with great selection of restaurants nearby. Short drive (Ubers/Taxis in our case) to lots of good attractions, also mostly accessible by public transport.

Bathroom sliding door broken so couldn’t close it. Bathroom door off master bedroom also broken. The glass sliding door was difficult to open which made going out onto the balcony an issue.
