Cleanliness, had a fair number of cobwebs at skirting level, behind doors, on coffee tabl. Hall light bulb not working (we swapped out a lamp bulb). Bathroom bins would have been useful. Some windows painted shut, concerning if emergency. Mantelpiece very dusty

Facilities were good, had everything we needed. Location, central for driving to coast, St Mary's nice to walk around, accommodation close to pub, welcoming and good food

Hall light bulb was not working. Was excited to see a proper coffee barista maker but unfortunately the coffee grinder was not working (badly burnt ground coffee that had set like concrete) Not sure if the owner is aware ?

A very spacious property. Comfortable beds, we all slept very well. Cottage has everything that you will need for a pleasant stay.

beautifully renovated, warm, spacious, well appointed and so comfortable. wish we had stayed longer as you can easily get to bay of fires and Scamander from St Mary's. so quiet and the best pub meals in Tasmania just around the corner.

The bathroom room door on the bathroom side the grub screw needs to be tightened and I got locked in and had to knock on the door to get it

What an awesome BNB the house was just like the photos indicated. The Kitchen was very well equipped. There was three good size bedrooms which could sleep up to 8 people. One with a toilet and basin attached. The beds were absolutely amazing. The bathroom was separate to the shower with a deep claw bath, toilet and vanity. The laundry had a shower, toilet and vanity plus a washing machine and dryer. There was a fireplace plus split system with heating in all the bedrooms. Plenty of throw rugs for the cooler nights. We had a plumbing issue which was very much an unforeseen circumstance but we contacted the owner and that was fixed the next morning. I would highly recommend this property and I have rebooked it again myself. Cheers Debbie and Family.

Small points that didn't adversely affect our stay but noted: Only one bathroom has a "practical" shower Lawns front and back were high and un-mown No kindling wood provided for the open fire and no wood in the basket hence available wood wasn't dry No free-to-air TV available.

The 3 bedrooms are spacious, very nicely appointed and the beds all superbly comfortable. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living room area is also spacious, well furnished, practical, comfortable and delightfully "homely". The home is very clean throughout and the kitchen and 2.5 bathrooms well stocked with the "necessities."

As we arrived late after all the shops where closed a few things like milk, juice or simple snacks left in the fridge would of been very much appreciated. Not expected but would of been a really nice touch for our situation.

Liked everything about the relaxed country feel to the place and close walking distance to town centre, cafe and pub.
